Wallabies vs Lions , 19th July Suncorp

I can, Fiji are a seriously good team, especially at home. The Scots have shallow depth after the Lions players are gone, possibly an injury or two.
Thanks for the lift up the rankings from our Fijian brothers and the Poms beating the Argies away from home, our World cup draw could be more favourable.
Yeh good point. That's why I was suprised England beat argies 2 in a row as well.

Scotland without their foreign legion aren't all that. Fiji with their players that have been poached by us and others would be innnncredible.

Conditions could end up a bit wet underfoot this weekend. Some rainfalls expected on Thursday night and into Friday. With the weather staying cool and potentially overcast it may not get a good chance to dry out.

Suncorp has luckily been without games for a few weeks now which should help the surface.

Picking a back 3 between Wright, Jorgenson, Potter, Kellaway, Daugunu, and Pietsch is not a bad problem to have. I'd personally have any of them in my starting team!

Dylan Pietsch must be close to being in the 23 as he was not included in the First Nations & Pasifika XV squad, and you would think that he would have been one of the high profile squad inclusions
Pietsch should be starting or bench, was way better than Daugunu...going to be awesome to see the team named..

I think the main issue there is that if we end up with the back three being Jorgensen, Potter, Wright, Pietsch then there's no coverage at centre.

I think Daugunu is still a strong chance at wearing the 23 jersey.

I agree that Pietsch was better for Force vs Lions than Daungunu was for Wallabies vs Fiji.

I dont think Daugunu is a 12, pulling Lenny was weird. 13 and wing cover.. Im totally not a Pietsch fan, I think the dude does everything right except put the try down.. but for the force and last year, he gave 150 percent effort, more than any winger.. that made me like him.. the effort he puts in moves him up.

I don't think Daugunu is a 12 either.

I just think we are incredibly likely to have either a winger or the 23 who offers good cover at 13 at the very least. Given I am of the view that Jorgensen and Potter will be on the wing I think it is very likely Daugunu covers 13 in the 23 jersey.

The other option would be Paisami on the bench to cover 12/13 with JAS being the back 3 cover.

I can't see us picking Pietsch on the bench if the starting back 3 are Jorgensen, Potter and Wright.

Surely getting Len off the field was more about preservation of him than anything else. We know what he can do and he doesn't need anymore time other than blow the cobwebs off. No need to keep colliding with Tuisova thank you

I agree, but we also needed to win that game.. would have been a shitshow if we lost.. but it all worked out, and saving our best back is smart..

It's probably a surprise to the Lions as well! With regards to the back 3 discussions above, all that is probably a case for Kellaway to be in the 23 shirt, he can cover the centres more safely than the other options.
