Waratahs 2025

Major Tom

Vay Wilson (31)
How does O'Donnell have far more upside? He's kinda big, that's about it. I don't fully understand why he even plays 13 given he has absolutely no ability to read or defend a play.
Like ghost has stated, he will get better with coaching and experience. He has more upside than Foketi who won’t be getting any better you would think. Time will tell.

Doran reporting that he will most likely be squeezed out

Backline could look like

9 - Gordon
10 - Crieghton
11 - Potter
12 - Walton
13 - JAS
14 - Kellaway
15 - Jorgensen

Incredibly inefficient shuffling of talent this. Hopefully Darby finds a home somewhere else in Australia, he didn't show much this year (not a lot of room for a tahs winger to, particularly coming in cold) but he has heaps of potential. Wouldn't be surprised to see the Brumbies jump on him with O'Donnell gone and Muirhead probably out the door too.

are there talks of him leaving?
Nothing specific, but at 31 and not on the Wallabies radar this is probably his last chance to cash in overseas. Even if he's retained the Brumbies will be looking for a younger player to come through. Easier to fit someone in if he does go though.

Can't believe you guys picked up arguably the best winger in Aus. We needed him at the force. Getting harder and harder to stay competitive. It is what it is though.
I posted 2 words instead but it got removed. Gagr didn't like the c word even when it was censored . Can i post the meme from the movie legend

Feels a lot like a latter era rebels recruitment decision. Potter's a good player and he does improve the side, but not massively given the outside backs were already a position of strength. Not sure this is a particularly good use of the tahs limited remaining cap space.
