If Horton comes he comes but it if doesn't so be it in my mind.

They went and got a guy that can improve the group immediately and can start without everyone groaning at what is about to happen. If you get to the 4th Hooker and onwards I'm more supportive of reaching back into Club land like they did when Jay Fonokalifi got the call up from Gordon and did a decent job and use money to retain some of the younger guys.

Very good signing, but interesting that when the Force sign overseas players they get lambasted.

There's not a side in Aus that doesn't have overseas players.

The Force more often then not have a bigger portion of their XV being foreign players than the others.

hah are you serious? Force would often put out teams with 5/15 of their starters being ineligible and still come last. If you're going to undermine Aus Rugby growth at least win some games.

No offence to Horton but that would have been a step back. We dont need back-up players we need guys who are really competing for that starting role. Too often we have a first choice and then a gap in talent.

Did not say there was not, just saying that the Force have had unfair comments thrown at them about this but when "The Boss" does it everyone gets defensive and throws even more stones at The Force..........

If there was a better Hooker in the system that's an Aussie id prefer that too but the Tahs have thrown out a kid like Barrett in seasons gone into a game before signing a 2nd/3rd grade standard Brazilian Prop...

Just a better version of the Crusaders legend (played one game and got a red card) Hugh Roach. Horton would be an upgrade on Dobbins so we are really talking about 3v4 here.

Good luck to them. Lancaster should go back to 7s if they can afford him. He won't be short offers from places like France I imagine.

Also, think he's a chance for a League team to take a punt. Can't tackle for shit but they may give him a go. Potter is an upgrade right now.

Losing Lancaster is really silly, hopefully he’s staying in Aus Rugby. Would love for him to to Canberra. Lancaster/Toole/Wright would be a scary back 3.

Don't like seeing him go but the writing was on the wall when Potter wanted to come back east. Before the year most would have probably said Reilly might get shown the door for a guy like Lancaster but you cant deny the blokes performances have been fantastic on both sides of the ball.

I also think they are looking at the guys below and have half an eye on holding the likes of Saunders who got a debut this year and then Watters and Harvey in the 20s. Watters looks the real deal and should be called into the Tahs A for Super Rugby A.

Lancaster would look real tasty on the Brums and give them nice depth with the end approaching for Muirhead. They also have Wilcox but he may need a bit more physical development to back up the gifts the kid has. Also, the Force should be going after him. Potter gone and you don't want to have to say alright Poolman is the guy. Pietsch and Lancaster are a nice set of Wings.
