Edmed wasn't entirely out of it, but to drop back to the bench for that must win game against the Blues is pretty telling. I think the shift away from Creighton at 10 was more due to the injuries at 15 - Jorgensen and Sua'ali'i were both out and Kellaway missed the Force game. That's not to say either Creighton or Bowen had anything locked down, but with the 10 jersey still being up for grabs at the end of the season it's hard to see it going to a departing player who didn't wear it in the last game, particularly when he's missed the last week or two training with the squad.
Potentially the best chance Edmed has of starting at 10 is if Schmidt requests it, which isn't outside the realm of possibility given he has been training with the Wallabies. Bowen being injured would certainly help that along, as would any potential limit on Kellaway's minutes (like there might have been on Pietsch's, given his early departure from the Force game).
