A watch.....Geez mate, I think you might be reading a little much into it now. :thumb

Tell you what though, it will be incredibly difficult (not to mention time-consuming) transferring that small sketch to full size and colour.

For you anglers, here's the latest installment in my marlin painting/illustration I posted back on the previous page of this thread. The damn thing now has colour! ::) Not bloody easy though, I can tell you.

Thanks virg. I know it's a pretty narrow area of interest, but just thought I'd throw it out there.

Will PM you soon re that other issue as well. :thumb

Expecting art appreciation on a rugby forum might be expecting a bit much :D

yeah, thanks for that smartarse. ;) I would have thought whisky appreciation was not related to rugby either, but all you Scotch sippers seem to get all lathered up about that too. :p

This is a fishing-related thread so I thought the anglers amongst us might be mildly interested.

this fishing thread is kicking the arse of the combined beer wine and spirits threads, so you are doing just fine. I'm not complaining either: some nice fish and good art so far.

Thanks former, that's very kind of you.

Easter weekend I was down on the Gold Coast and managed a total of 16 keeper sand crabs over the duration of the weekend. Many more had to be thrown back because they were undersize, or jennies (female). Some good eating to be had, especially when washed down with some beer. :thumb

Some decent sized claws on those buggers, i assumed you had to duel to the death with them all?

not really virg, sand crabs are not particularly strong, so as long as you know where to hold them, it's pretty risk free. Mud crabs on the other hand are far more dangerous because they are quicker, heavier and a lot stronger.

These sandies just got a knife up the backside, which meant instant death, then off with the carapace, then cut in half and popped into the boiling water. :thumb

I don't bar up over fish ;) Put a young honey with her babylons out on that boat and you might catch my interest ;)

If I wanted porn I would have suggested you have her bent over the gunwales with the crew lined up behind her :)
