Yeah I see Mowen as a 6, Macalman is a better 8, and the way we played we could do with both as they are the best two on ballers/workers

Umm, What was the game plan last night?
I am struggling to identify what it was.
Either we didn't have one, or the players didn't understand how to execute it.
Link is usually good at out strategising the NZ game plans. I think we lost the coaches battle last night.

This happens everytime AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) makes a break. He either scores or dies with the ball. While it is sometimes the supports fault I would lay the blame primarily at his feet.
He only looked one way on that break. Had he had the vision he would have seen Hooper in support on his left, slowed, drew Dagg and passed to Hooper it would almost definitely been a try.
Well, there was a plan. They tried to move the ABs rapidly from side to side, maybe trying to suck more of their defenders into rucks, then look for the spaces. At least that's how it looked to me. We hardly ever got to the spaces.
Problems?
1. AB defensive organisation / structure just far too good to be suckered into that.
2. ABs, as always, picked their moments to attack ruck ball and turnover, and often slow it thus negating the plan.
3. Loose moments from the Wallabies under pressure were ruthlessly turned into points - the ability of the ABs to transition from defence to attack is superb.
The ABs really didn't need to make the play much - they just trusted their defence, worked us over at the breakdowns as usual, then took all the opportunities when they got them. They do this a lot, and it is a pretty safe plan, unless the opposition nails an attacking structure which makes them have to take more chances. We didn't. Sounds simple, but it was masterfully done.
I don't think the Wallabies were rubbish, but there are several areas of concern that are going to require some big improvement.

Trying to put a Sensible Opinion out there as the way its being run at the moment its Pathetic. Can't see the Wallabies winning anything.
After last night's performance, I think that there are only two possible ways that we will beat the Darkness on Saturday in Wellington.
Option 1. Send Stephen Danks over to NZ in advance to act as the AIG's Supplements Advisor. Send in WADA testers on Friday.
Option 2. Turn up to Kennard Park (The Home of Rugby), in Wellington NSW and claim the forfeit when the AIG's don't show up.
Both options are a fairly long shot.

He has done better than anyone else ! I am not a Big Listening Fan of Jones but I think he would be valuable as a Coaching Director, he has been the Wallabies Best Coach and is Highly Qualified to add some Spark to the Wallabies Camp.

I raised the question about Horwill and, if you read my post, you'll note that I didn't say he should be sacked at all. I just don't think he's a lock for the job and I was wondering what others thought. He should, IMO, certainly see out the season.
We'd certainly get a few more column inches and sound bites in the Media if AJ was more involved, and as they say any publicity is good publicity.

Simmons had a surprisingly good game. He's a stop gap until Pyle or Skelton step up, but better than Douglas and Timani.
I'd like to see JOC (James O'Connor) left on the wing. The only way he is going to iron the defensive kinks is more game time.
Move Folau to fullback and bring Cummins onto the wing. Drew Mitchell would have been my first choice but I guess they are looking to the future and not picking him.
I still want to see Sio starting, and maybe Cooper as well.
