It's not stated in the laws, but it's how it is applied by the referees...........they kicked the ball away for a territorial advantage from a knock on - advantage over.

Nah, referee here...
advantage can be achieved by a kick without advancing past the advantage line, i.e. a cross field kick which provides tactical advantage to the team... a poor kick from a disadvantaged position doesn't automatically negate advantage unless it resulted in a clear and real advantage.. which it didn't.. poor call by the ref

absolute rubbish... plenty of passion in this team and plenty of guys trying their ass out.
there is poor execution and fusion across the team, doesn't mean individuals aren't trying.
Yes be frustrated about the performance, don't take aim at the individuals and claim they don't give a shit.

agreed, real lack of composure across the team, structure in attack is lacking..
I had hoped the recruitment of McKay would have inspired some greater attack, but it's just missing at the moment.

They need to either stick with Stewart and actually play him as 10 instead of just chucking the number on his back and playing him at 12 or find someone new, Hegarty isnt the answer as he's not a playmaker.

I actually think Stewarts best position is at 12, he is playing 10 because he has a reasonable passing and kicking skillset but longterm I think his attributes are best suited to inside centre. How that plays out I'm not sure, Its easy to forget he is still an extremely young guy so im not really surprised he is struggling to run the backline at a Super Rugby level.

Parramatta new stadium is going to be class and frankly the Tahs should be seriously looking at moving the SCG games either there or Brookvale after tonight. The SCG is not up to scratch and is damn right dangerous.

I've been a fan of the Reds since the mid 90s. Thorn has killed it for me. I'm currently pretty ambivalent about results. I want the Reds to win, but every loss I also get to enjoy the schadenfreude over Thorn being clueless and out of his depth and one game closer to gone.
This Reds team is not far off Richard Graham era bad. Thorn, unlike Graham, has some positives as a coach, but his negatives are so glaring that he will never, ever be a winning coach. The sooner the Reds move on the better, I am still just hoping the team isn't gutted yet again before it happens.
The game? Messy, scrappy affair. Based on the recent showings we are watching the 3rd and 4th teams in the Australian conference, and it's sad to say that.

Absolutely, its going to really open the eyes of rugby union/league fans in Sydney I think when they realise the quality of stadium that Brisbane and Melbourne have had for years.
SCG is a disgrace for both the fans and the players, its not up to standard. I think the only one it appeases, and probably the most crucial stakeholder is the SCG/SFS members.
