RWC 2019 England vs Argentina

This sucks. He's clearly lowering himself, yet Farrell dips as well. Red card is beyond harsh.

So to win a game of rugby, you literally just have to dip your head into contact.

Farell dropped his front leg before contact, it's just bonkers.

ffs, and the game is over.

Rugby will never last at this rate. It's just too easy to get sent off.

Fucking waiting all week for this game, now it's pointless.

This is exactly where im at. I thought the argies would give this a good go. Now the contest is all but rooted. I really believe a red should be a send off all game for the offender but should then be replaced by a someone from the bench to keep a 15 on 15 contest. Its so deflating to get excited about a game like this then have the game virtually called over barely a quarter in.

technically he was unsighted as farrell dropped into contact look at that knee bend. still, hard to argue.

Hopefully the red card lifts the Argies to play the game of their life and England get cocky and relax.

Owens said "Hes not low enough for it to mitigate it". Samoa survived 2 red cards for players 'dipping'. Farrell is dipping and hes being tackled by a bloke thats 6'7.

Hopefully a Pom gets a red too, just to level it up so we can enjoy the spectacle. I pick Itoje

This has to be the answer. Remove the player for the game and maybe a 20 min bin advantage?

I reckon just 10 mins. Potentially they run out of subs at the rear end of the game, that’s punishment enough

If it were my choice it would just be a straight swap of player. The disadvantage is losing your starting best player for that position for the rest of the game or late in the game losing a fresher player that just came off the bench which then forces you to put a benched player back on. We already have the yellow for temporary loses.

Ive got a feeling this option wouldnt be complicated enough for the current powers in charge though.
