I'm gonna agree with @Derpus for once.

Still an "F" for referencing there.

I can't even tell if the lego stream you used was even from the same match

It’s a near given that we will lose at Eden Park.

Big games like this are extremely mentally draining and we’ve seen how powerful emotion has been in this Rugby Championship.

This wasn’t a poor Wallabies performance - so there’s no motivation to respond after a lacklustre effort or an underpressure coach.

I reckon the boys will be pretty deflated.
If that’s the case then they should hand their jerseys to players that are up for it

I couldn't resist. haha. ;)
I'm literally not even that too far removed, I think Newells isn't good either and should be pinged. It just isn't even ballpark, the same as Swain's. It's literally just so damn obvious I wouldn't think it would need explained.
Yeah I can see your problem, it’s really hard to see the other incident with only one eye open

It was from the same article you guys are fucking referencing to have a whinge. Jesus Christ! Good enough for you to use it but when I do, you literally argue against the only piece of evidence you have in your favour!?? At least Th0mo tried to argue his point on merits.

Oh right. Very good point.

If Kevie said he didn’t do, he didn’t do it, right?

On the quiet I actually agree with you.
I’m just playing games because that’s what your coach and compatriots have done with the raynal shitshow

Yeah, I agree with me too. With you on Fozzie & co too. I'm out, it's Sunday and a nice day, what's left of it. Hopefully next weekend's a ripper game too.

It was interesting to hear Nigel Owens thoughts who was much less certain of a red than the seething masses.
Mate I agree wholeheartedly with Owens, it wasn't a red card , because the ref didn't call it as such, end of discussion!
Anyway it's all hat now, last weeks news! ;)
We need a thread for next weeks game.

The call was S*it, but one thing I don't get is why at that stoppage would you not have been subbing Foley for Hodge anyway. Hodge has a extra 20 meters in his kicks and at that stage of the game it's worth bringing him on for 90 seconds. Just to make sure the ball gets to half way. It's poor management by Rennie and Co in that aspect.
Absurd- no coach thinks about bringing on a guy with a bigger line kick (because he rarely actually kicks in general play from fly-half) while they are camped in their own 22.

You could argue that Hodge is just as likely to knock the ball on or trip over himself in the defensive line too.

yep, they've got a proud history of it.
I played with a guy who became an all-black. In the grand final the opp had a really talented 19 year old half back. This guy caught the youngster in a ruck and held him face down in 6" of mud and the kid breathed in mud and was taken to hospital. That was the worst thing I have seen on a rugby pitch.

I've calmed down enough to admit that:

1. Foley should have kicked it earlier.
2. Raynal made an emotive and poor decision, inserted himself needlessly into the game and his comments to White post-whistle were a bad look.
3. Wallabies looked great on attack and have lots to build on.
4. Foster is a dick. At least that's one thing we all seem to agree on!

I sat and watched my clock for 39 secs and Christ that's a long time to make a kick! Having done this, I am of the opinion that it is all on Foley.
Yep. He should have given the ball to white and they should have taken the option to kick for goal.

That's 60 seconds and field position (if he fails *wink* *wink* coz it needs to be a legitimate attempt). His kick is going to fly 60 for sure before it is caught

To be fair Foley wasn't the one the ref talked to for most of that time, it was Nic White

I just watched South Africa take 45 seconds to walk to a lineout, and nothing was mentioned or done about it

Last thing on this, i need to move on lol,

2 of richies conversions went over the time & he didnt take away the shots at goal, yes foley should have kicked it but still this dirty narcissist saw a moment to insert himself into the game & make it all about him. he should never be allowed to referee an international every again

Interesting that Owens has been quoted as agreeing with the decision but what he actually said was that it was within the laws of the game.
He a said he would have handled it differently.

“Yet, Owens admits he would have handled the situation differently and pointed to a European Champions Cup match where he added time on after a team attempted to slow the game down.

“If I was in this situation, what I would be doing after is reviewing my own decision, could I have done anything differently here, could I have dealt with this in a different way?” he said.

“Could I have said, ‘right, it took you 20 seconds there, I’m now going to add 20 seconds to the clock,’ which I did in my last European final when something similar was happening and I added 20-30 seconds back onto the time.”

Other referees have not been so gracious

One other well-respected international referee, who did not wish to be named, however disagreed, saying “it was the worst decision” since Wayne Barnes missed a crucial forward pass in the lead up to a French try in the All Blacks’ 2007 quarter-final loss.

The fact that the ref didn't just put time back on the clock just shows the call was all about his ego

Honestly, we need to stop acknowledging these refs, stop showing their names and their faces. These guys just want to be famous by making controversial calls
