A bit of a frustrating watch. Hard to win a game once your set piece falls apart. If AU had converted their opportunities such as that close first no try and that dropped ball out wide then they may have been in with a chance. I feel like as a country we still don't play smart enough. Set piece, ruck work and playing territory and conditions are all still work ons. On the positive, these young players will be better for the experience.

Good to see our Hookers can’t throw at this level either. Replacement Front Rowers just not up to standard.
Backs looked threatening every time they got a chance but conditions and a lack of clean ball restricted this.
The amount of shovelled forward passes from the Irish 10 had to be at least 4.
We lack forward punch from 4-8. Might be tackle machines but there’s no impact.

I may have misheard, but I am sure the referee said it was called by AI, I assume it was my mishearing AR for assistant referee or have we got artificial intelligence making lineout calls?
It is a crazy delay until the decision is called whoever is calling it.
