I'll have a crack at the predicted Scots 1XV for 2024.

1. Joel Jacobs
2. Elliot Sainford
3. Tom Duddy
4. Finnlay Bartlett
5. Charlie Barber
6. Harry Gianoutsos/Angus Newman
7. Charlie Ulcoq
8. Toby Brial
9. Geoff Hughes/Max Patterson
10. Max Soepono
11. Jay McKenzie
12. Onitoni Large
13. Zac Fittler
14. Aidan Gow
15. Leo Jaques

The one I'm probably weary of is No. 6. Harry Gia is a great defender and really throws himself in everything but maybe lacks size. Gus Newman has been terrific for the thirds this year and a huge part of their go-forward.

Could also see Cody Clarke and Harry Harrington fit in the prop position or maybe even this flanker position.

And the hooker is also another one but he seems like the next person in line.

Let me know of any changes, open to criticism.
Looks very year 12 heavy with only a few year 11s in the mix so will be interesting to see where scots can go in years to come

I also forgot to mention Hamish Bull, but I feel like he might lack experience. Unsure though he is always an option due to being taller than many year 12s.

if Scots don't get it done next year it will be a very long time before they do (absent an inflow of fresh talent in later years). So that's a lot of pressure on a team that has been expected to win in '24 for the past 5 years.

You would hope hes taller than year 1s But yes I do agree a few games in the 16as and I could see Mr bull making his debut in the opens whether its 2s or 1s. Similar situation with ashton large although he has a bit more experince

Backline identical to this year minus henry james

with the right coaching scots have the ability to be unstoppable next year

I just don't think this Scots cohort have the right attitude,

Kings, View and Joeys (despite the injury tolls) this year are winning games based on their ability to play together, whereas this Scot teams seems like they are all waiting for an individual to step up. On paper they are as good as anyone in the comp, just haven't been able to put it together as seen by View putting 47 on them at home.

Predicted 1st XV Riverview 2024

1. Angus Phillips - 1sts
2. Will Hodge - 2nds
3. Conner Dempsey - 3rds
4. Phoenix Graham - 1sts
5. Daniel Saunders - 2nds
6. Daniel Smith - 2nds
7. Henri Dempsey - 16A
8. Campbell Conna - 16A
9. Edward Carter - 2nds
10. Angus Grover - 16 A
11. Charlie Christie - 4ths
12. Sam Terry - 2nds
13. Tom Hartman - 1sts
14. Charlie Watson - 3rds
15. Jeremy Newton - 3rds

Hopping on the trend with this prediction, overall happy with the team with a few positions where there may be question marks. The inclusion of the three 16As players is going to add value to the team and partnered with experienced players in the likes of Angus Phillips, Phoenix Graham and Tom Hartman, the view boys will be looking very good next year. Let me know any thoughts.

Question: If the AAGPS was a league compitition, which schools would be up there

My guess would be newington (Casey mclean, matt humphries, rodwell) would be good as well as View (Joe Dillon, Leon Mason Bunton)

Interested to hear everyones thoughts and maybe a GPS 1st 13 for a league team
who is rodwell
