Give credit where it's due. Kurtley didn't look that interested I any of the 5 mingers clinging to him in the carpet and going "Oh. My. God. That game was soooo bad!" Granted, play had only stopped 30 minutes before, do hey.

Wtf?

Can't do it. Absolutely shocked. Not sure if it's the fact they were so bad in all aspects or they stuffed my first leg of my multi bet.
No points for you!

3 Carter
2 Mitchell
1 Burgess - the ball can only be moved faster when the forwards clean out and the attackers are prepared

I'm disappointed with the overall performance, particularly with the 'pack', but there were some players who stood out for good reasons.

3. Kepu
2. Carter
1. Beale

Dennis, Mitchell and Burgess did some better than average work too.

I thought Kepu and Dennis did some individually good things but they didn't do it for 80 minutes, more like 20. Rest of the forwards weren't there, except Fitzpatrick was half-reasonable. Burgess was horrible, given that our forwards were not turning up he needed to run the backs with quick feeds continually. Barnes looked concussed, Turner and Cross looked OK but didn't stand out, Pakalani had a shocker and Beale tried hard but didn't make incisive progress.

3. Luke Burgess - Went forward the most
2. Tom Carter - At least he tried to go forward
1. Drew Mitchell - He tried to keep playing

Is this where we come to grieve?

How can they go from pure dominance to training run in 5 short weeks?

Can I give 3 points to Sharon Flahive? -- we need TPN, Waugh, Cliffy, and Fat Cat back ASAP. The rest of the forwards just couldn't seem to step up on the weekend.

The man-love exhibited here for Tom Carter is woefully misplaced, as is your (admirable) loyalty, Bruce. Carter did nothing out of the ordinary on Saturday night, he was completely predicatable as he rarely passes the pill (not once against the Cheetahs) and is dead easy to defend against. But I'll mark him down heavily for this: on two occasions Tom got the ball with outside runners in space BUT HE DIDN'T EVEN LOOK, just tucked it under his wing and carted it up into the inevitable tackle. This competition cries out for tries to be scored, Carter denies the Tahs outside backs many opportunities to do so.

If I absolutely have to award points it is:

3. Mitchell
2. Dennis
1. Fitzpatrick
