Is it a lack of local rugby atm, that is causing rugby 'boys' to be distracted. First Willie Ripia sent home to deal with his gambling/theiving issues, and now QC (Quade Cooper) and team mate ejected from a pub for poor behaviour.

Is there any substance to these articles, or beat ups to satisfy our off season appetities?

Whos got the low down?

Well, to be fair the Quade incident happened first...

Both incidents were of no real surprise...

I agree, just pointing out if quade wasnt a lynch pin in the reds side he would probably be treated more harshly. He has had a few alcohol related events now and even though the last one seemed a non event. It was around alcohol, but it, like anything else with top line players is meant with excuses and calls for them to be treated better by the public.

Yeah it's a bit of the Wayne Carey syndome isn't it, no one ever draws the line on them.
however this time i feel a bit for QC (Quade Cooper) why is it newsworthy that he had a couple too many?

I really don't mind that it happened. More the fact that he or someone didn't come out say he was embarrassed or sorry or looking into making going out safer. They come out in support of him. It happens a lot, with alot of different sportsmen. I have a problem with society as a whole for not taking responsibility frthere own actions and sht like that riles me up a bit.

as do many others, but when you choose to have the big media profile, live on twitter etc. You simply can't get away with the same shenanigans as a boof head hooker living in Canberra does.

I am sure it was, but it provided enough interest in quiet times to create column inches.

I have talked to ex players that are still close to the reds and they say Quade has a good heart but is lousy on the piss. I took my son a Reds day, Quade was playing with the kids, not many of the other reds were. When we getting autographs he had a joke and a laugh with my star struck son. He did not need to do this and it made a really big impact on my son.

As Link indicated recently, you can't expect him to live in isolation. How may of us have been kicked out of pubs because we get lousy on the piss? Many a night has been ended this way for me.

So a pub owner kicks somebody out and because nobody else has come out to say anything else about the situation on either side, it means immediately that the pub owner is just a pub owner and thus should be discredited?

And now your even suggestting that the bird was asking for it?
