you're lost. Didn't mention ashgrove actually so it's clear you have some premeditated hate towards them. I'm actually from Pats, and old boy and been around these rugby circles a lot longer then you and I didn't have a crack at peters either.. idiot
Well well there is no need for name calling but my statement stands that Peters is the only team that earned their win (obviously reading is not your strong suit)Ashgrove won but in my opinion I don't rate them as good a team as the boys from Eddies and if there were more than one game a season I don't think the result would have been the same the next time around but in saying that I do rate them in fact a lot higher than your mob and now I understand your sour grapes as you couldn't win even with the one eyed whistler playing your song from the middle of the field and I know if there was more than one game a year the result would be the same on that front. Oh and you stay in that circle you've spent so long in because with statements like yours that circle will lead you back to the same starting point the bottom of the barrel.

good point
what do you think about people putting manu at 8 and shuane at 2 for AIC 1 seeing as though shuane is in yr 11 and yea the padua 8 would be good at 8 with manu at 2 ?

I know you didn't ask me, but thought id put my 2 cents in anyway. the idea of playing Manu as an 8 has grown on me. Ive seen each team play at least once and Manu could easily be the best 8 running around aic. Laurie is good enough to play AIC 1, his set piece is really good and his defence is brutal. I dont think the selectors will go this way but it does have a lot of merit.

here is my AIC 1 and 2 teams;

AIC 1
1.Hatzis (SLC)
2.Manu (SEC)
3.Sorridimi (VILLA)
4.Roe (SEC)
5.Neil (SPLC)

11.Duma (SPLC)
12.Blackman (SEC)
13.Maka (MCA)
14.Bennet (SPLC)
15.Bennet (SEC)

AIC 2

2.Laurie (SPLC)
3.Anderson (?)
4.Butterworth
5.Mcdonald (SPC)
6.Lizinski? (SPLC)
7.Treby (VILLA)

Obviously all the people who would put Manu at 8 are saints supporters. Why would you play him at 8? That is beyond ridiculous, play him at 2 because he will make qld 1 and he hopefully play aus schools. Also for AIC 1 i would put Butterworth over Neil, wilkin to 7, put maka on the wing and slide humphries into 13. But hey what is the point in saying this? I looked at AIC rugby 2011 thread and the team everyone predicted was different to the one picked by the selectors. Also just quickly I would put the 11 for ashgrove over delaney in AIC 2. Heard he has put on some monster hits this season

It's not quite AIC, but I'm new so not sure where to post this!

I've been making vids for TAS (div below AIC) for fun and (no) profit. Thoughts?

Get yourself a smooth tripod, you'll never get the shakes out with a handycam when zoomed in. Move around to different positions for a variety of camera angles and some cutaway to crowd and detail shots would allow some time to enjoy the "golden" clips. Love the commentary overlays, well done. The sound track was repetitive, didnt have highs and lows and crescendos for the big plays.

haha cheers mate, I'll take some of that onboard! Not a huge fan of tripod's tbh, going bareback allow's you to move around so much more easily, shakes I'll just have to deal with.
I've done a couple more if people wanted to check them out, TAS is kinda the forgotten child of schoolboys haha.

If you can get past the Ashgrove thing I think the editing and compilation of this video is the best schoolboy one I have seen (no doubt there are other very good ones too) - the rugby is not special but the video is very well put together

Solid team, how ever there are two forward spots which are filled with padua boys that is horrific judgment.
3.Garreth Ryan? no doubts he is a big boy, but in no way is he AIC pontential. His size is a waste due to his poor rugby skills and his lack of technique. This was proven as he was dominated by a much smaller forward pack in the rucks against pattys last week.
8. Tom Richter? Once again a big boy, but all through the season he has been playing more of a winger role then a forward. In most games you wont see tom near a ruck or mall, rather wait for the ball to be spread wide and he will take a one of run like its a game of league. He reminds me much of st pats big number 3 last year, would bludge on the outskirts and wait for his one run of a half.
just because they carry size doesnt mean they are good forwards, theres a lot more to it.

I make no predictions re AIC teams as I do not know all the teams and players well enough however I will make this prediction based on history.

The number of players a school team gets in the two AIC teams will relate pretty closely to their results this year.

If your team didn't win many games there won't be many players selected. So look for (assuming 30 players)

St Peters 6 or 7
St Edmunds & Ashgrove 4 or 5 each
and so on down ....
