Rugby League players who could have/could make the switch

Over the years, NRL players have gravitated to a one size fits all, less the dummy 1/2 and hooker which can be a short nugetty fellow.

In AFl, again the players are either lanky galoots or short nugetty fellows, although there can be a couple more of these in the field than in mungoball.

The only option for the stout, slow and strong lad is Heavensgame, where they can still make an impact, and attract the eye of a selector.

I read the other day that Inglis signed with Souths for another 4 or 5 years or something. Shame.

Slightly off topic but related.

There is a rugby player that is desperate to make it in RL. Retired International Rugby Player as well. Said on a Promo on Fox sports that if he wasn't a professional Rugby player he would probably be a WWE pro wrestler. Has an ego and attitude that is more suited to mungo than heavensgame.

Guess who?

Money is not an issue apparently. He recognises that salary cap is an issue in Mungoland, and they may not be able to afford him at current rates.

Didn't know that the team best suited to his mungo skills, Moore Park Magpies A Grade team, were subject to Salary Cap but you learn new stuff every day.

The little Melbourne Storm back wearing the helmet in the GF with the ridiculous high work rate (I think his name is Anthony Quinn but I'm not sure, I don't watch much league) would be great in union (or 'rugby' for the sticklers).

He was everywhere with little touches and defensive efforts. A high work rate style would be much more suited to Union which rewards 1%ers a lot more.

Dane Nielsen maybe? He had a skull cap on and was playing centre. Looked sublime in defence compared to the other centre (Chambers) in the rush up and in defence.
Don't like mungo ball much, but I will sometimes catch some of a Storm match. They somehow combine clinicality with flair.
