On the contrary, it's in the laws of the game that foul play is ok against cheating All Blacks. Look it up, sub section 23.a clause 7. Ref messed up big time.

Was Pat Cilliers injured tonight or just not selected? I read early in the week that both him and Jannie were doubtful. But when the team was announced, Jannie made the run on, but Cilliers was bracketed with him in case he was ruled out at the last minute.

Why then was Greyling named on the bench?! It was clear BEFORE this game that he was not up to test rugby. Jeez that fact was hammered home tonight! He cost us in literally everything he did (or didn't do).

So much to be frustrated about, it would be hard to list everything in less than an A4 page of writing. The one that got away......

The Boks can't afford to start M. Steyn anymore. Goosen is just as capable with the boot, and he asks questions of the defence that M. Steyn never does.

I would also be playing Lambie at 15 instead of Kirchner. Lambie offers more in attack than Kirchner, and his boot is just as good.

I thought Louw and Alberts were really good. Alberts was heavily involved early, and Louw was a constant pest at the breakdown.

Agreed. Hopefully Louw has proved to Meyer the worth of having a specialist openside flanker in the team.

Amazing how the other changes are glaringly obvious to everyone who posts on this forum (many of whom are neutral fans), but somehow not so obvious to the coaching staff.

Just watching this game now, and to our SA brethren, I feel frustration on your behalf.

It must be frustrating watching a team run out and knowing that there are better options sitting on the pine. The thing I don't understand is that Meyer has inherited this team without a heap of expectation for the first year considering the huge numbers of retired players, so why isn't he giving the young backline players a run? He might get blown away a couple of times, but he will also build a core of future players who he could take to the next world cup.

The Bokke pissed this match. Dont like losing but there are so many positives for the Bokke and surely their last loss of the season. Thought our defense and first and second phase was good. Four things need to happen now.
1. Goosen needs to start,
2. Lampie needs to start.
3. Greyling and M Steyn never ever should come near a Bok jersey ever again.

If we only had 1. we would have won this test with ease.

Regarding the All Blacks: They desperate needs SBW and Carter. If they play like this the Bokke will beat them in SA.

The little I saw was both old and amateur. I thought on that basis that it was a pisstake.

I was unaware that it was performed by an old and amateur group. For arriving at that conclusion, I apologise.

Having suffered through the ultimate pisstake at a Dunedin Test Match, that is Scandal'us singing the Australian National Anthem, you will perhaps excuse me for arriving at that conclusion.

C'mon HJ,

No retreat no surrender! The 'ballet dancers' need to go and eat some 'concrete' and 'harden the f@!k up' ... ... ... ;)

which reminds me of a poem:

McCaw's men came o'er the glen like a pack of ballet dancers;
one in four knew the score; the rest were f-ing chancers!

Yeah you'd think it's easy to remember 60-0, but I guess they had other things on their mind... ;)

I think I would like to see F Steyn outside Goosen before I make that call. F Steyn is at his best if he runs off someone. He is nullified because of M's hanging back in the pocket.

He tends to try and do too much but at the moment he may as well not be on the park because all he gets to work with is scraps in broken play.

And for his defense at 12 alone I would tend to keep him.

If that doesn't work out I would be inclined to move him back to 15.
