Clearly Deans is one of the best rugby coaches in the world then. i smell a contract extension coming..

If that happens I will buy a ALL BLACK jersey.

Kidding, that will never fucken happen, buy a AB's jersey I mean.. Extending deans contract, I hope not.

Well done Sharpie, glad the boys won for you, even if not that convincing, Sharpie of all people deserves to go out with a win.

Agree wuth bada, the Poms pulled one out of the bag and thoroughly deserved their win, not many teams would of stayed with them tonight.

Wonder how far away the Wobs are from one of these "everything clicks" performances? Ironically it was against the team that just clicked against the ABs that we sort of played pretty solidly.

The positives: the line out (helped by charteris being off), the defence, some half breaks by individuals, the rucks (I guess but there were a mess all game)

The negatives: the kicking (poor decisions and poor execution, miss finding touch from a penalty but mistakenly kick others out on the fool), the decision making in attack and the lack of support play. Our goal kicking as also off tonight.

We really lack leadership and composure in attack. More curious is why we have it in defence but not attack. We seem to be constantly playing for penalties when the ball is in hand. The personnel changes this year haven't helped but I think it's more than that.

Thanks sharpie, enjoy your retirement - until we need you again next year.

I thought Mitchell was excellent tonight & was my MOM. Glad for him given all the problems he has come through. Have to acknowledge that Deans faith in him paid dividends.

We didn't deserve that at all

Apart from it being Sharpies last game, I feel sick for us winning that.

What an absolute joke performance. Appalling from all the backs. Average from the forwards.

Worst is the coach. What sort of game plan is that? Swapping the centres in defence (just because or Roberts?) - fail. Kick first plan - fail. Running the same play off every line out - fail.

We are doomed if we have this coach for the lions series.

If the poms had clicked against the wobs like they did today, Deans would be looking at Xmas in Canterbury. They would have put 20 points on any team based on today's effort.

Wales only 2 long breaks were the result of this ploy: both AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) and Tapuai are, at least, reasonable defenders so why mess with it?
On the first one - from the Wales line - there was utter confusion and they both went for the same man.
I would love to hear the "thinking" behind this and know whether the players asked for it or Deans imposed/suggested it.
i hesitate to say this: i thought Phipps wasn't as bad today.

He was ok, but looks to have really lost pace. We need more speed on at least one wing.

I agree, but hopefully Mitchell will get that speed back in the next months. His experience was evident, with a lot of involvement and strong defense.

Totally agree. The problem was created where no problem needed to exist.
Phipps still too slow between pick up of the ball (quick, I'll give him that) and actually releasing the pass (an interminable age at times). Too much faffing around with some passes. We really need Genia / White and A N Other fit and firing next year.

McKibon's trip to Wales was worth it! Didn't even get a couple of minutes.

Geeze Brian Moore is a pain to listen to, probably the only reason I was rooting for the wannas in the end and I wasn't let down by his incessant whining after KB (Kurtley Beale) try.
