Arrapoint Bend. This locatily is in the middle of nowhere in the Snowy Mountains. Braveheart81 was there for Easter. 90 minutes drive to the nearest Foxtel outlet.

yourmatesam and others. I vote to continue the game under the original rules. We've achieved 18 pages already with only a couple of breaks, and I reckon there is plenty of our sunburnt country to go.

Darlington Point. Just outside Griffith in the Riverina. If you're driving from Wagga to Griffith, always go by Waddi then the Point. Inside tip from the locals.

Amen Hugh Jarse lets stick with things as they are.

Tumbi Umbi - The hometown of Scottish RU player Nathan Hines. Gristlechewer wouldn't like to carry a carton from Tumbi Umbi to Murrayfield.

(@Gristlechewer is off line ATM. This is his entry from earlier.)

Indooroopilly, don't mis-spell it! Good pub, nice golf course.

... and a fairly well known tax case about a childcare centre, employee share schemes/trusts and fringe benefits tax.

Yagoona, NSW - a suburb in South-Western Sydney. Site of the first McDonald's restaurant in Australia.

Yagoona is Disqualified as it is a repeat entry.

"Y" still stands.

Kirribilli. St Aloysius College is near this Sydney waterside suburb. Also Sydney home to Australias most famous Ranga (Aunty Jooolia) and Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron. This celebrated its sesquicentennial before Sydney Uni Rugby Club.

Indjinup, 6282, WA.

Best known for it's surf beach. Located near Yallingup.

For those eastern staters playing at home. The majority of place names in SW WA are derived from the local aboriginal groups names for places. In the Noongar language "up" was a suffix at the end of a name meaning "place of". So if you need a heap of "P"s, I can help ;)

Parklands, another town on the hinterland in the Sunshine Coast, nothing like parks over there just housing developements abutting Nambour.

Bah Bah <TV Quiz Show Incorrect Answer Bell sound>. The Ranga doesn't live at Yarralumla. It is that Queensland Shiela with the Blokes name who lives in Yarralumla. The Ranga dosses down in The Lodge at the start of Adelaide Ave in Deakin. I think that GG Quentin may also have alternate digs in Kirribilli as well - Admiralty House.

Australind - looks a bit like Australia. Just outside Bunbary WA. Despite the name, the Transwa Australind rail service does not stop in or go through Australind.

OK, HJ, I stand corrected, yer right, the ranga rules at The Lodge, right next to the Italian Embassy.

Wheatman

Chris McKivat (8)
Dalby, home of the mighty Wheatmen, Jason Little's first club out of school, middle of the Darling Downs and now home to many gas field workers.

Yellow Rock, up in the Blue Mountains and wouldn't it be near to you, eh, Lindommer? Very small place but has a Greek Orthodox monastery though!

Also the original planned location for the capital of WA. But the estuary it is situated on was to shallow to allow large ships to dock, so it was moved to Perth on the Swan River.
