Yellow Rock, up in the Blue Mountains and wouldn't it be near to you, eh, Lindommer? Very small place but has a Greek Orthodox monastery though!

Yellow Rock Disqualified by TMO referral. Already used (twice).

Next Town is a "Y" start.

Yellow Rock - a little known township in the Blue Mountains that gets caned by bushfires every summer and where the sound of banjos can oft be heard.

Yellow Rock, here in the beautiful Blue Mountains.

Kangaroo Gully. Located outside Bridgetown in WA.

All I know about it was that I was riding in their 2.4 fire truck today while doing Bush Fire Brigade training. Never been there.

Edit: Looks like it is back to Y. Save this one for later.

I'll add this one as well, to keep the A's going. Augathella, home of the meat ants league team, on the banks of the Warrego river.

Bugger, keep it for the next y town. There's a couple more within a couple 100kms of me. Didn't see your post

Thanks @HughJarse

Yuleba it is, and the pub on the highway always has cold beer (as does Dulacca & Wallumbilla when you do the pub crawl back from a rugby game against the Roma Echindas between there and Miles - not to mention the other towns/pubs along the way to Dalby!)

Uki, Dairy town near Mount Warning. Celebrating its centenary this year, it holds the Buttery Bazaar markets on the 3rd Sunday of the month.

There is an Ozenkadnook Tiger with some reference to an area in the Wimmera (VIC) but Google is no help in establishing if this phonetically challenging place name still exists, so on the grounds of safety, and to promote the cause of the under represented "P"s the alternate is:

Owens Gap Upper Hunter Village outside Murrirundi. The latter was once home to bushranger Ben Hall.

Kew, in Melbourne, has probably the highest concentration of rugby playing private schools in Victoria
