Gutted.

Very proud of the Brumbies but gutted by the result. It has been a long time between drinks for us Aussie rugby fans. Is it too much to ask for some love during TRC?

Brumbies got a lot of 50/50 calls against them, which didn't help the result.

Ultimately though is was their inability to use the ball that lost them the game. Mowen and White in particular looked very slow in moving the ball on and getting the players around them running. If the Brumbies more effectively utilised their backs they would have won that game.

Arghh shi...it. So close, but Chiefs deserved the win. Last 15 - 20 minutes was torture to watch - Chiefs ran riot in and around the ruck. Looked to me that all the travel began to tell. A couple of big moments went against the Brumbies. Had the break by Rattlebones led to a try it would have been good night nurse. Had Messam been penalised for interfering with the halfback when he tackled Nic White before he had the ball in his hands, in front of the posts, the Brumbies might have kicked on to a win.

After match interview with Ben Mowen again showed all of his class.

As Ben said, we start the 2014 title offensive on Monday!

Yes but in Europe they're called clubs. I figured 'provinces' was most appropriate when talking about both hemispheres.

They do that everywhere, especially after the NRL GF, where they also boo the prime minister and any other political figures on stage.

State territory Ranch or whatever its still not a province and it is still players playing in that region combined into one franchise. Australia top players played in them. In 96 Northern Transvaal plaed with their players and could draw any player from the region next to it. All those smaller unions had to fight for a top spot to get into Super 12. WP did not make it one year and their top players did not play in it.
