I fear that the game will be determined by Sir.

Someone in Blick or Green will either do a lifting tackle or 2 x professional foul and get carded and it will be 14 vs 15.

The potential spectacle of two bull wildebeest going head to head for king of the Serengeti will fizzle when one of the wildebeest pulls a hamtring.

Just remembered this post. Good call, heh.

I must say in the 80's and 90's I loved the All Blacks game. Since professionalism I must say I have come to despise the way they play the game. The cynical professional fouls when a team starts to get a roll on. The petulant talk to the ref (see Nonu tonight when he lost the ball against De Villiers), the way the "rub of the green" always favours the Black team. Notice that after they got reamed in the first scrum the ABs started collapsing when the Boks actually had 15 players.
The final straw for me regarding the ABs is the behaviour of the supporters, the arrogance, the booing Cooper over a spat that McCaw himself started when they have in their revered history two (and more) true thugs in Loe and Meads, talking, shouting, whistling etc during opponents National Anthems but expecting silence for theirs as well as their pretty little dance.

It is funny that their supporters think that the ABs were well on top when they played 2/3rds of this game with a 1 many advantage and still committed the usual professional fouls when the opposition threatened.

Hahahaha. There's a whole lifetime of hate wrapped up in that post. Feel better now?

Thought the first Bismarck YC was tough, but 2nd one was fair enough, and I was disappointed in him as I though it was a stupid thing to do, especially knowing you already had a yellow.

Yeah I thought Bismark not only lost that game for the Boks but lost the RC as well and really stalled the momentum the Boks had over their last few games. Whether he has been designated the new hardman, and the replacement for Bakkies and Burger or maybe he's decided to take the role on himself, it was a fail and not the stuff of a great rugby player.

You need to put the lemon juice down. You pose as some grandiose poster that waxes lyrical paragraph after paragraph attempting to address the 'finer points of the game', but continually regurgitate the same old tired material until it gets to the nub of your posts - your really just here to whinge, point the finger, make generalised sweeping statements that have little accuracy. Comes across as extremely bitter.

Just finished watching the game. Brutal game ruined by some twatfaced officiating. Bismark got shafted for the first one which made the second more of a shafting. Nonu could do with a French holiday. On a positive note Retallick had a stormer, Barret stepped up well, Cane and Messam justified their selections and the Smiths were all solid. Jo'berg is gonna be a stormer

No I actually tell the truth as I see it and offer a true critique with specific examples for the "sweeping" statements made with no posing. I don't resort to snide comment or sarcasm to belittle others.

Nailed it there.
Feel for Dan Carter - looked like a nasty AC joint injury.
Barrett was superb, Retallick is just the big ugly munter I wish we had one or two of. Cane was gutsy.
I think the ABs would have got up, but the Bokke having 14 for so long was a big, and unnecessary, factor. Shame.

Wow, that's a poor post. I can find almost nothing in there that is true. Bismarck has no need to play a 'role'. What you see is what you get.

did you see the professional foul Fardy committed in the first half vs the Argies when they were on a roll and looked like they were about to score? Did you see Owens talking to Mowen, telling him his players need to stop talking to him and how to referee the game?
See, I too can give you specific incident with exactly the same things you accuse the ABs of doing, only another team doing it.
thing is, you see what you want to see, and you seem to have a chip on your shoulder regarding the ABs.

Have you seen my critiques regarding the wallabies players or are you just choosing to ignore those? You should also mention the Wallabies coming around offside on the Argie maul and collapsing it, as well as ruck entry and a couple of others also when they were in the 22. Also the pressure relieving scrum penalty in the first half when the Argentinians were penalised when I thought it was pretty clear that Alexander was hinging down as soon as the drive came on.

The wallabies wouldn't do such a thing!

Id take Nonu in my team anyday...fast, physical, plays on the edge...brutal. Id take that over some of the weak arse efforts put up by some of the Wallabies. And wasn't the first Bismark yellow more of a shoulder charge than a high tackle? Second he lead with the elbow to the throat.

So, I missed part of the game and just saw the Bismark tackle.........

Poite deserves to be stood down for a match or two, nothing in it............

A great game ruined by stupid referring. Meyer and JdV were absolutely impressive in their after match comments and they are a credit to themselves and their team.

The return match in SA will be a cracker.
