Forwards and backs have to link up better against Wales.

Backs need to defend better and tackle with more aggression against Wales.

that was only just a win but we'll take it.

On today's performances I'd be leaving Harris there over Lilo for next week..and that's nothing to do with his goal kicking, he was in absentia otherwise.

I really don't know what we should do with 9, 12, 13 and 14 next week. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) will be there somewhere.........

wouldve been 30-15 without those uncharacteristic lilo misses.

In those ground conditions I'm not sure you could call anything uncharacteristic.
I'll give Peyper some marks at the end for not getting trigger happy with the scrums, which looked like they were trying to pack on 2 unconnected persian rugs.
To me this a positive result.
Difficult to play any rugby. A fair bit of niggle from the Scots. Untried combinations in the backs.
Dropping the miscreants both punished them and because we won a dour struggle maybe sent a message that no one is indispensable: a loss could have been disastrous in terms of the second part of the message.
Not a good spectacle.
Do those in the United Kingdom Northern Hemipshere (reading kiap in France v Bokke thread) really look forward to a 1/4 of the game spent on setting and re-setting scrums? Fix up your grounds.

phew.

With Harris and Cooper there, would've yanked LiLo from kicking duties after 2 misses.

Worst pro-level playing surface ever. Thank goodness no knee injuries.

Horwill had a blinder too, best game in a long time.

Slipper goes well in defense. It would be good to see him get over the advantage line better when he has a hitup.

Reminded me a bit of the game against England - like the whole thing was in slow mo, no doubt because of the boggy pitch. Close game without Scotland ever looking like scoring.

I loved the Flower of Scotland anthem. The whole crowd singing. No band (2nd verse), no PA. No pretty young thing from a TV talent show.

Crowd support like that must motivate the Single Malts like the haka does for the Darkness.

Shitty defending in broken play, No set piece coherence, Attacking way too deep.

There was no way we were going to win when all that was going on. I'm not happy with a number of decisions made, especially in the pack, considering you were well understrength.

But, you did it. Well done.
