My understanding is that the Wig & Pen will be moving to Llewelyn Hall at ANU in the not too distant future (pending approvals etc).

And the former head brewer from the Wig will we opening a new brew pub in Braddon in the next couple of months (Bent Spoke Brewery).

And a final bit of Canberra drinking news - the RUC (ACT Rugby Union Club) have taken over the old Turner Bowls club, so that should provide another rugby friendly venue.

How close to the current site is Llewellyn Hall? Is this a good move, taking W&P out of the Civic area?

Only about a five or so minute walk, but it'd get a lot less foot traffic passing by. Though that might be balanced out by getting people in who are attending shows at Llewelyn Hall

So what's the injury toll after the Force game?

Pocock's knee- obviously a major concern - how bad?

Pat's neck - any news? Is it related to previous injuries?

Also looked like Kuridrani and To'omua suffered injuries during the game. How bad? Brumbies will be in trouble selecting a backline if both these and Pat are out.

On apositive front, Robbie Coleman had a much better game than I expected at wing. Surely would be pressing Moggy to start at 15.

Since he walked off the field I don't reckon it can be that bad. They might be sending it to his scalpel jockey to rule it out completely. I say this of course with my Zero qualifications and experience in medicine.

Im sorry ... even cleared there was an issue with his neck.. someone needs to pull him aside and stop him.. because we all know Pat will run head first into a hurricane if they let him.

all i think is Sigh... I love pat and hoped he would be back, but coming off with a suspected neck injury after having 2 injuries and 2 games back.... even though his fine.. is not ok..

That is potentially terrible news if the new scan reveals that he has ruptured his ACL again. By now I would have thought that the swelling would have subsided enough that his ACL could be pretty well tested with Lachman's test.

In my experience, rupturing your ACL is the least painful knee injury. I knee I'd done something serious, but there wasn't a whole lot of pain and I could walk off when I did mine. Getting even a moderate medial tear however hurts like hell, makes it impossible to walk but heals on its own in a matter of weeks.

No need to lose hope just yet. Myers originally did the surgery back in 2013 so he's just returning to get his advice again.

I've also been told that Pocock's name isn't on the operating list today, so that hopefully means something. Unless he's scheduled for tomorrow

I wonder if that is the issue. The work that he puts in is just making the problem worse. He might need to get some pointers off Sir Richie & Saint George to stretch out his longevity.

In the mean time let's just hope it was a little bit of scar tissue settling and all will be good. Fingers crossed.

Funny you should mention that ... Brumbies are already doing it. Secrets exchanged with Saint George.

And just like the 6 Million Dollar Man the Brumbies will re-build him for the betterment of the ARU and Australian Rugby.
