With the majority of the U15 Terrace players going to miss at least two games (NC and BSHS) due to their annual year 10 immersion program, I don't see them being able to take out their year group. I see BBC and IGS to be quite strong.
Is there any mail on BSHS or TSS...

I heard TSS was beaten pretty convincingly by GT at a pre season carnival, however I've been told State High has gained a few extra players and will be a big contender this year. I may be wrong, but that's what has been said to me.
I have heard the same about BSHS and new coaches I have heard too... Think a guy from Nudgee is taking over the program... maybe you are right on them as a dark horse .. They were good against BBC in a trial but no depth so may struggle to go with the top teams at the end of the rounds

I think Dark Shark was wise to wait until all trials/injuries & team lists are known before 1st XV predictions.

Some injuries from Nationals:

Qld I
BSHS Southorne (knee)
BSHS Tualima (Shoulder)
NC Mafi (ankle)
NC Pritchard (cork)
TSS Fittock (?)

Any Qld II player injuries?

BBC Gunter, Ngamu, Tuuaga should be back soon?
NC Is LMoseley playing rugby or AFL - if rugby at #15 or #10?
ACGS Perese?
BGS McCorley?

These are all key players for their teams.

LineSpeed how serious are those BSHS injuries from Queensland 1?

I spotted Gunter playing (and bloody well too) at the BBC trial against some English School, King Edwards or something of that like. Game was an absolute thrashing. BBC looking very capable of forcing and punishing mistakes. Every turnover of the game was dotted down between the posts. I'm fairly certain the hooker was not Kareem, and I couldn't tell Ngamu from a sack of potatoes - however the 15 for BBC in the trial was fantastic. I believe Jerumi Nanai played 12, and he combined brilliantly with the 13 in maroon headgear. Can someone tell me who "Fraser" was, in jersey number 20? I've never seen him before, and he was very good. I'm still backing BBC for 2014

McCorley to the best of my knowledge is not injured, but going through some personal issues at this time.

Fraser Cotton from 15A's from last year .came on the 2nd half and played brilliantly.
BBC play GT this weekend and there are still some injured boys that Barker does not want to risk.
BBC has a great deal of depth and Barker has some hard choices.
BBC has no goal kicker that was a major weakness.

Correct . There will be about 10 boys not playing because of injury and boarders. Not back yet . Big guns and Qld reps ,Farrell, Peterson , Leyland . Tauga not playing , nor is Ngaamu,,the under 16 props that are playing so well are also not back from Overseas, Smith also not playing .
Is there am issue with him ?

Foulds had a run in the 1sts.
Smith played in the 2nds, he needs to learn a bit more about rugby plus they have taken him out of 12 n trying him at 8.
All of the boarders were back at they had just come back from a rugby camp at Bond uni.
Barker is still looking at combinations and as I said some injuries he is nursing for the TSS game.

I believe a few more will be available for this weekends trial against Terrace and the projections are for a full strength side for round one against TSS. Leyland has been nursing a groin for a few months so probably just wanted a light run, Peterson recovering from flue perhaps will plat a half this weekend. Tauga may miss TSS, not sure, they may want to hold him back.

LineSpeed how serious are those BSHS injuries from Queensland 1?...

Injury severity: I haven’t heard anything more.

I was told that Southorn was taken off in the first game for knee scans (Te Rupe/GT was called up) & Tualima's was "pretty bad" but he played on so gutsy performance.
Mafi's looked really bad & he was on crutches after the match. Pritchard was strapped for a cork & not moving freely at all so I hope no knee problems there as well. Fittock did not play the last game, not sure why.

Is Nudgee and BSHS full strength this weekend ... Don't believe all you read about BBC the role out is on .... GT to struggle this year but still challenge teams at times ...

I can confirm that Eddie McCorley has left BGS due to personal reasons. Yet another key BGS First XV player to leave within a month of the competition kicking off.
What number will Forsyth be playing for GT this weekend? And against who?
And what is the draw for Round 1?

What does"the role out is on" mean?.
Digby is correct . BBC will not have Leyland,Tauuga , Ngamu , Peterson or Farrell this weekend against GT .
1st 4 boys are injured. Farrell has gone home for weekend as has his brother . Does that mean big Lazo will be playing? As under 16 props are away as we'll . One in Cairns the other in New Guinea

BBC lineup for GT this weekend:

1. Kahn Helms
2. Connor Christianson
3. Luke Peterson
4. Darcy Taimiua-Swain
5. Tom Davidson
6. Ben Gunter
7. Christian Malaula
8. Lachlan Foulds
9. Max Dempsey
10. Tiaontin Roaren
11. Len Ikatua
12. Jerumi Nanai
13. Sam Edwards
14. Ben Simpson
15. Nathaniel Carswell

Dylan Leyland resting a shoulder injury, Jack Farrel resting an ankle, Syd Smith playing 16s, Jayden Ngamu resting ankle, Kareem Tuuga resting knee. Not at strength and haven't been since the nudgee and ipswitch gps trial. Farrel and Leyland will come back into the team forcing one listed above out, either Malaula or Foulds will go to 2nds. Christianson to be replaced by Kareem. Ngamu to come back into the team with Carswell returning to the 16s. And Syd to find some form and straight running in the 16s, might make an debut depending on form and injuires. Carswell to be the replacement wing/fullback. Sam Edwards will most likely stay at 13 if not move back to a wing forcing a younger boy to move back into 16s. BBC by 20+ points up against a small GT forward pack and a league filled backline. Should be an interesting game but no chance GT will win. BBC will still have to play well and get this last game over before heading to the coast to play the match that the college has been dreading on since last year.
