So they should've! But you can't go past the fact that they were comprehensively beaten the two weeks prior and one of those times were by one of the poorest teams in the comp. They are a good side, but I don't think they are as great as everyone seems to think they are. They were always going to finish 3rd at a minimum but their results this season were largely inflated by being in the weakest conference and by having a draw that you simply couldn't make any better even if they'd paid for it.
They 'should' win this one but I am tipping the Clan to upset them. I certainly don't think that 13.5 points start is justifiable.

I think the main thing preventing this from being a complete blowout like the Highlanders' last 2 games is the Sharks don't score that many tries. It's hard to imagine the Highlanders being in the contest though. The only thing keeping them in single figure odds is their win mid-year.

34 points against the Stormers was a pretty good effort. All teams slump throughout the season just like the Waratahs did. The Sharks are back.

Teams always get a bit complacent after a big win (Sharks) and teams always have a lot to prove after a big loss (Highlanders). I reckon the Sharks will win but I reckon it will be a close one. Since it is finals time I think both teams will play with a conservatism that will suit the Highlanders more than the Sharks.

14 mins, Shorks up 10-0. Completely monstoring the Clan's pack

Saffer commentators make Marto and Kearns sound like masters of objectivity. Sound going off soon.

Jeez, heard the commentators mention Jannie Du Plessis haven't scored a try in a 131 matches, that's a long time between drinks, even for a big boy like him.

"I think that Steve Walsh got that right - but it's not very sporting to not award that try"

Yeah Highlanders are going to be real competitive

Settle down, we smashed the Sharks in Durban earlier this year. If we can learn how to defend a maul in within 10 minutes or so we might go alright.

Like I said. Fekitoa in like a knife through butter.
