Sefanaia Naivalu (hand), Jonah Placid (knee) and Toby Smith (knee) are all injured.

The four players that miss out on Rising team will play for the Australian Barbarians in curtain raiser v Eagles development squad.

Burgo, being older, would prefer not to play NRC. Meehan couldn't play last week because of an injury.

Surely the Rising aren't DRIVING from Melbourne to Orange?

Mind you, they'd pass through the sporting capital of the western world, Wagga Wagga, so it wouldn't be all bad. ;)

I vaguely recollect reading somewhere that they're flying to Sydney then catching a bus to Orange.

Eagles haven't named the strongest side ever this week. Chapman and Hoiles are out.

Mike Ala'alatoa is on the bench. I think that front row is going to get demolished by the Rising's scrum.

Yeah, Eagles scrum will get demolished - it got beaten by City who in turn were beaten by the Rising, and the Eagles scrum also get beaten by Qld Country too.

Can't see the Rising being beaten at the moment.
