Don't mind the run on team at all but the bench looks pretty dicey, Mann-Rea over Hanson? Wut.

No KB (Kurtley Beale) is a large indicator to his fate as mentioned.

Look at the fucking EYES. This is a guy who knows this is probably his only shot, and I reckon he's probably been ripping shit UP at training to get his opportunity. He probably killed a few hookers (the other kind) during the week and drank their blood just to ready himself for the onslaught.

Plus Hanson's lineout work hasn't been totally up to scratch in his appearances this year.

I like Hanson, but this is a great move. Nuggety old hard-headed bloke at the tail end of his career.

PLUS he was born in NSW.

Congtaulations to Shatzie - First Aussie Cap acoming.

Think Link picked him a couple of years ago but he picked up a knee injury which then stopped the cap. really felt for the bloke at that time. To have a cap in your hands, then have it taken away through injury before you wear the thing would be devastating. I thought his opportunity of getting a Wallaby cap was gone.

Of course, I won't admit I was wrong, merely mistaken.

Had a good year last year, missed out through injury. Right place, right time this year. Whilst I personally wouldn't have picked him, hope he takes his chance.

Congrats to this bloke as well and agree with your post, irrespective that the poor bugger was born in NSW. Surely he will get his shot after 60

Not sure what looking like a future Mickey Rourke character in a made for TV movie has to do with his playing ability though.

Mann-Rea didn't get capped in his previous game on the bench.

You'd have to assume that unless there's an injury to Hanson that we haven't heard about he's been brought in so he can be capped.

Jeez old mate - the only similarites is that both have 2 eyes, 2 ears, a nose and a gob - the sun must be in your eyes and as a gunfighter you should always have the sun at your back.:)

Haha I didn't say he looks like hum, but looks like the type of old, knocked around, haggard character he would play.

I'm sure Mann-Rea's mum thinks he's handsome though!

Possibly. Although the 6/2 split is a good excuse to leave him out. Link perhaps erring on the side of caution.

Great to see that To'omua has passed his concussions tests & hope that Simmons recovers very shortly.

With Kuridrani really bringing his A game to test level recently I would love to see a similarly dominant display by To'omua and this test should be his opportunity.

Hope he has left all those dinky, dribbly & ineffective early phase kicks behind him in Cape Town never to re-appear. As the separate thread on the topic reinforces our best #12 needs to be nailed down in advance of the RWC very soon.
