I like to watch

Serious question; is Godwin really that good? He's been roundly anointed by members of this forum as the greatest thing since sliced bread but I'm yet to see him set the world on fire.

Over hyped?
I think thre was a fair bit of extrapolating his form in his debut season.
Many thought that he would continue to improve dramatically on his excellent displays in his first year out of School.

I've talked Godwin up and think he should have got a run on last years EOY tour instead of sitting on the pine for every single game. Put him in a Wallabies team with talent around him and he could excel.

But back to more important topics. Lets smash those gawd damn Rebels this arvo!! :D

Now starting to get excited about tonight's match. Off to the Turf Bar to watch.

hoping we've fixed our lineout throwing yips, maintain a strong forwards game and I think we can finish off the Force backs with some class.

Rebels by 10.

Tropical cyclone heading down the WA coast so showers likely. Could be greasy conditions so any Rebels 'class' will more likely have to be ass now.

Looks like a good night to watch the game in a pub on the other side of the country

Game on. Who is watching on the other side of the keyboard?

I must say that I like the Rebels hooped jumpers this year. Good for TV.

That Rebels tighthead was beautiful. Just applied pressure and drove through when Charles lifted for the rake. Wonderful control.

Rebels are a good side, playing the top 3 teams from last year first up was a bit misleading.

Failing a Rebels meltdown this is looking ugly for the Force. Rebels dominating contact, the advantage line, breakdown and set piece.

Force are the most arrogant stupid team ever. Constantly going for touch when they can't score tries.

I hate that shit. Rebels didn't even compete for the throw. Bullshit call.

Force half a yard off the pace here. Fuck the Rebs look good with their speed on the ball

That is bullshit. No where near the mark.

Jeez what's with the hate?

They got the try. Decisions can't be justified after the fact, right or wrong. Maybe taking 40m penalty is too big a risk for their kicker. As it is, they're only two scores back anyway.

So second half, my advice for the Force is: put some depth on the run, get off the line on D, and hit the Rebs in the 2nd channel to avoid their big boys in close.

And if Alby stops the step-pass, you'll find most of that attack falls into place.

Coach killer just before half time with players falling asleep to let Alby Mathewson score easily.

Very clever from Mathewson. Rebels look dangerous though and the Force are lucky to still be in it. Rebels will have to put the game to bed early though because the Force at home will be keen in the second half.
