Btw, it has to be said:

The Brumbies were quite outstanding tonight in all rugby departments, bar their place kicking.

Showing all the hallmarks of an exceptionally well-coached, highly motivated, balanced (as to selection and player skills) team.

Gill will definitely be cited, as Larkham has stated that the Brumbies will be reporting Gill to the citing commissioner.

Not sure if he really put him down in a dangerous position though. Pretty sure he got through the full suplex.

Really strange decision by the Brumbies. First off Gill and White caught up and seemed on happy terms just after the game and why would the Brumbies want Gill suspended??? They've played the Reds twice now, they would want the Reds strong so they can beat their competition and not be easy beats.

Graham lamenting lack of execution and injury toll in the post match presser
Graham never gives insightful comments in the presser, because he doesn't know what happened. Have a look through any presser after the match and it is a lot of "didn't front up", "lack of execution", "lacked physicality", and "missed tackles" etc.

It is only in the thursday youtube press conference that he will actually say something specific about what was behind those things listed above and what the Reds will have been concentrating on to rectify that. I suspect (but I could be wrong), he doesn't actually know until reviewing the video and having others input to discern what was happening out on the field.

The players should be aware of what is going down on the field - but the perspective of the head coach is far superior and he should definitely know and be relaying that shit down to the players through the water boys.

That's irrelevant though, and I don't think Bernie cares if they're buddies after the game.............

It was idiotic and quite dangerous, and he was lucky not to see red..............

But Larkham said the Brumbies would pursue further action, opting to cite Gill for his actions which will likely see him front the judiciary and face a lengthy suspension.

"We're going to cite that. I guess he got a yellow card in the game, but for us it was more dangerous than that," Larkham said.

"Whitey was a little bit winded ... It's just a reckless, dangerous infringement. What concerned me was that Whitey was upside down, he was thrown to the ground, he's a halfback and he's meant to be protected."

Didn't fire a shot all night.

As someone who holds a general disdain for scrum halves and also as someone who gets the shits with how much of an angry little man Nic White is, Gill rag dolling him was the highlight of the night for me!

So precisely 684 people on tonight's Fox telecast said how the Reds had a game plan and stuck to it. Apparently this was a good thing and was to be congratulated. Fuck off it was. Our 'plan' was apparently, play no footy in our half and the wait for one of the best teams in the Como to make us a mistake and invite us across the line! Seriously!?

In our defence it's not like getting held to zero was a surprise. We went up against one of the best teams in the comp with no flyhalf and no goal kicker.

Fuck this is going to be a long season.

Heinz Magnay is too weak for Super Rugby level. He weighs 98 kg but he should weigh at least 105 kg because his height (195 cm)
