Really? Is that a forum rule? If there's a consensus not to discuss other games then I'll certainly obey it, but I've never heard of it before.

Personally I'd stay off the Internet until I saw the replay.

Yeah Groucho, there is a rule, and I'm sure any one of the Mods would be happy to point it out to you.

Okay. Post deleted. In my defence I was replying to a post already talking about the game. But I'll keep in mind your invocation of the mods. My mother used the boogey man to similar effect. I still eat broccoli, even though I hate it.

This AB team's a different beast to Sydney. Hopefully the Wobs are as well.

If Aus make it to the final the Bledisloe results won't matter either way. Both teams know they're capable of winning but also know that they're not gonna do it if they don't get it right on the day.

No one doubts that. But it's still interesting to think ahead. In the absence of a Wallabies vs. All Blacks Final thread (which would be presumptious) then it's going to percolate into other threads.

Unless that falls into the Don't Mention Other Games rule, of course! I've already fallen foul of that once today.

So on account of my Foxtel Play trial account lapsing and having no TV through which to watch tomorrow's asado, I find myself at my parents' house, about to catch some zeds before a putrid alarm at fuck-knows-whatoclock, and I find myself attending to my ablutions in the spare dunny.

It's essentially a closet filled with the sort of nick-nacks a family accumulates over 35-odd years.

Being a cultured man I like to read when I shit. Apparently this has been so since at least 12 years ago, as the resident reading material happens to be highly relevant to this evening's events. See attached.

Clearly this is a portent from the Gods. An overly-ambitious cutout pass will be snaffled by an opportunistic outside centre who's runaway try will real the game open.

Gentlemen, may we pray that it's an Argie who throws the errant pass.

Waaaayyyy too excited for this one. Come on Wallabies. Hoping to see Hooper get some retribution on Sanchez early and watch the Argie fall to pieces.

Couple of Wallaby coaches in their prime. What I would give to have Bernie running the show!

Amazing to think this bloke was 20 caps into his career when this magazine was printed. What a warhorse.

I don't know what's more startling - the haircuts or the fact that an inner-Melbourne apartment could be bought without donating kidneys.

That's it from me fellas. Enjoy the game and hopefully the brief trip down memory lane.
