I think Todd Louden and Matt Taylor are an under utilized brains trust of Australian, and could form a very compelling combination for the Reds.

On a sidenote, how is Sam Lane playing in Sydney?

Will the new coaching regime be able to adjust McIntyre's running lines by this weekend? If McIntyre continues to go sideways as he has done in the first two games, creating no threat in the 10 channel and allowing the defence to take space, then I fear the backline will continue to struggle.

So, other than Coach, can we envisage any changes to the team for this weekend against the Rebels?

Assume that Saia is Out so Ready will start. But who will be our reserve hooker?

Will the be wholesale changes or only those forced by injury?
I would like to see CFS rested/dropped.

Last week I finally lost my faith in him, I have been able to remember highlights of his play that cancel out his current form.

Unfortunately he is just making too many poor errors and seems to have lost his skills and I would like to see someone else given a shot at making a starting spot there own.

My concern with him is that for two weeks in a row I've watched him on a break with only the fullback to beat and both times he simple ran into the fullback. There was no attempt at any type of deception.

What is the injury status on JJT and Kuridrani does anyone know?

Also will Perese be fit to play this season?

This has annoyed me too, particularly the Beale tackle. If he ran towards the corner he would have drawn Beale closer and could have passed inside to the support player.

I still look at it and think he could have in and awayed and then gone over in the corner with a slide given what it looked like on the screen (where it always looks infinitely easier of course).

Perese is a season or 2 off Super rugby, Magnay, who I rate above Perese, has not had a run yet. Junior laloifi looked totally out of sorts when he ran on the field on Saturday, I just don't think his frame and size is suited for Super Rugby and especially an outside back.

Nothing like a week on the bench/stands to make a point & to focus his mind:)
He's sat off the field long enough from his injuries I think. Every game he's off the field is another game further away of him getting better or getting lost. He needs to prove he's worth keeping and the reds need to know whether he's worth keeping - they won't find it out with him on the bench.

(I understand where you are coming from - I think he's past the gentle "bench" warning and is now at the "play for your contract" warning)

I'm puzzled by the amount of negative attention CFS is being singled out for here at the moment.
If there's been any lack of confidence and belief, he certainly hasn't been alone at the Reds.
Far from it.
No one's probably expecting miracles this weekend from the Reds, but I'm sure we're all hoping for signs of a passionate resurgence.

It's not that puzzling. We've had bugger all try scoring opportunities and he's completely stuffed 2 of them by trying to run straight over blokes rather than any sort of evasion technique.

Fair enough, do it once & learn your lesson. But he didn't learn, hence the fans frustration.

Rob Horne had a couple of those, at test level, and it was the making of him as a player. It's like he decided never to screw up a try again.

I presume one of those opportunities you're referring to is the Kurtley Beale tackle in the game against the Waratahs. But personally I think it's unfair to say CFS "stuffed it up". It was a bloody good, very effective tackle from KB (Kurtley Beale). Sometimes this happens....a great tackle stops a try.
And it was certainly acknowledged by all his teammates and Tahs supporters.
Perhaps 9 times out of 10 on other occasions it may have been a different result.
