Blues named.

Hopefully Perofeta actually gets some gametime this week. No point giving Piers extra practice to play for England.

Unfortunately for the Reds Michael Collins isn't starting at fullback or even on the bench.

The Blues team is:
1 Alex Hodgman, 2. James Parsons (c), 3. Sione Mafileo, 4. Patrick Tuipulotu, 5. Gerard Cowley-Tuioti, 6 Jimmy Tupou, 7.Kara Pryor, 8. Steven Luatua; 9. Sam Nock, 10. Piers Francis, 11. Rieko Ioane, 12. TJ Faiane, 13. Rene Ranger, 14. Declan O’Donnell, 15. Melani Nanai.
Replacements: 16. Hame Faiva, 17. Sam Prattley, 18. Ofa Tu’ungafasi, 19. Akira Ioane, 20. Murphy Taramai, 21. Billy Guyton, 22. Stephen Perofeta, 23. Jordan Trainor.

Firstly, can't stand the way the Brimbies are playing their footy right now. It's shocking.

I joined the Fern and old Yellow Scarf whilst living in Canberra. Imagination is my middle name...

It has forthwith been decreed thou shall be flogged by Brumby Jack using your shredded Crusaders Jersey as cat-o-nine-tails on the lawns of Parliament house forthwith.

The fact the shredded Crusaders Jersey will inflict no damage is intentionally symbolic - it the tears because we ripped your jumper is what we all really want to see!

We are happy to return you home to Pitcairn as part of the punishment!:p

No SBW is goddamn fine by me. Prefer giving TJ Faiane more time anyway
Another guy who doesnt rate larkham as a player or coach?
Test match Larkham was flatout terrifying as a player. Casually carving us apart the ****. From what I remember he pretty much outshone Mehrts head to head too. And Mehrts got us out of a lot of tight spots.

It will be interesting to see if Timu gets a run off the bench. Reds need a good ball runner in the forwards, he has lollies very strong in the games I have seen this year.

Either an admission of past failure or a Hail Mary for the rest of the season.

Questions obvious to the coaching team.

We've been hearing that Ready was fat, unfit and had a screwed head. Geez a lot happens in 7 days.

Stiles brings in the kids to replace the ancient and ageing warriors nearing retirement:
- Tuttle (21) replaces Frisby (24)
- Rodda (20) replaces Simmons (28)
- Tupou (21) replaces Talakai (25)
- Ready (23) replaces Moore (34)

Of all of the ageing players replaced, the only one over 30 was rested, not dropped, and was replaced by someone out of form all year anyway.

If the Reds get up and be the 1st Australian team to beat a kiwis side this season (feel likes its been 5 seasons) It will turn a fucking woeful season into a slightly fucking woeful season.

Reds by 8 and by 8 I mean by 8 in the peanlty count.
After last game, Score who Fucken knows.

There's an interesting interview with the CEO of the Blues here on what it took to take the game over. Hopefully plenty of fans turn up tomorrow night.

And just below that, an interview with Samu Kerevi. Talks about the Reds playing in patches and wanting to put.in an 80 minute performance but I'll believe when I see it.

I am going with Reds to lose the game in the last 15mins, with Stiles blaming Trump for the loss, as blaming the players isn't working. He could blame Canada, but that is no longer on trend, so he will join the populist wave and blame Trump.

The Blues only showed up yesterday. I think they're going to struggle bigtime with the heat so if Reds are anywhere near them at the 65 minute mark, it might well go the other way.

About 32c there now with apparent temps around 5c higher & it will only drop to about 28c by kick off.
