Did you watch the NZ games? When Foley came on the field he immediately threatening the line, Ran Straight, and does what Beale does not and secure the ball into contact.

Foley has a good running game, especially in broken play, If you recall he did start his career at fullback and carved it up for Tahs in the position. He also does not have the weaknesses of Beale. Defence is average but its not embarrassing likes Beale's is at times.

Beale offers probably a great broken play runner, compared to a good broken play runner then Foley, but that's about it. His weakness in the contact zone, and high error rate is a massive downfall for KB (Kurtley Beale).

I actually think this test will tell us more about where the Wallabies are at than any other test we have played this year. One of the KPI's that keeps getting trotted out to show the improvement under McKenzie is that we are beating the teams below us consistently.

This will be a real challenge with the injury toll and being Arg's home game. They are a significantly better team this year than any other year to date. They seem a much more composed team and one that will put you away given the opportunity. They underestimated us last year and payed the price, they won't make the same mistake this year, but will rightly identify that this is their best oppotunity to get the maiden win in the RC.

I'm confident that much like our undermanned tests against Ireland and Scotland in 2013, we can get the job done.

After missing out on the opportunity to take a shot for a drop goal in Bledisloe 1, the Wallabies have at least been practicing.

Really? I actually think that is the biggest problem the Wallabies face. Nobody is doing the roles that actually make up a complete rugby team. Too many homogenised players with non-specialist- jack-of-all-trades skill sets. How many of our back three options can kick the ball reliably (read accurately and with distance) from hand? Ummmm....... Zero.

My memory may be foggy but did AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) drop a torpedo towards the end of the game? He's probably has the longest distance kick in the current backline, which isn't saying much.

You boys have the easiest (A) Arg fixture. Playing them last, after a number of injuries to their squad, and a string of losses tends to negatively impact their performance.

If the RC fixtures were flipped every other year I would be willing to bet my Avatar away for a year that Aus would be their first scalp in the RC.

This time I'd agree with you but in previous years this is a load of crap and goes both ways. We will put out our worst team too. I'd love to play Argentina first twice instead of the ABs. Our best performance this year was also in our first game.

I wouldnt mind a crack at the AB's first up at home, I think that they generally start slowly, almost in a crusaders-esque fasion. With regards to injuries degrading performance, I have one word for you - Depth. You think you have little depth when you have 5 Super Rugby teams to choose from, try being an Argie selector after a couple of injuries. This means that the drop in performance for the team with less depth is a hell of alot more apparent. unless you want to tell me that ARG have comparable structures to Aus atm?

I guess we wont ever know until we get the fixtures.

I do wonder how bad it is if he's not being sent home and is allowed to play this week. Same coach who suspended players for not being home in time for a non-existent curfew.
