Strange that Jones should be called-up and #9 leaves, although Magnay is also gone. Maybe the selectors finally realised that they were a bit light-on for outside backs, the workload may be taking its toll on Kellaway, Todd, Henly & Milne.
I understand that his parents are there, so it'll probably work out that he stays. Bloody shame for the poor kid though, he just came back from injury as well didn't he?

Yes, but both hard nuts from the 80's-early 90's when the leagies knew how to tackle, not the more recent style, using two or three defenders in a "cover all" tackle.
I recall that it just wasn't Horwitz last year, Cam Orr and Jones were also non-tourists, so it's happened twice to jones. I bet he wishes the black cat he ran over, lived.
This to me is a real issue that needs sorting out. I do not have an issue with any boy playing both codes, but when they commit to a contract, and and turn their backs on, in this case rugby, then they IMO should loose their rugby representative opportunity. Hutch is a perfect example of a top...
