Who listens to the commentry word for word anyway?. The best commentator of all time was former Dual international Rex Mossop. I agree with old mate that it is a shame that Gordon Bray no longer commentates - used to love him on the ABC.

Yes the Kiwi's were ahead of time in the area of merchandise. These jersey's are very similar to the 1986 Cavalier jersey. I like the Peerless ones better.

Canterbury in NZ also made a French adidas jersey around the same time as these advertised jerseys. The 1984 Grand Slam jerseys were made by Peerless - I have a picture of Andrew Slacks jersey from a 1979 tour.
