No Jamie Kotz? Is he injured? I'm sure he's not too old.

He is not to old. In fact he is eligible next year. He is part of the squad. He had an injury concern but has been training and came on late against Vikings last Thursday night. May be injured or may not have made the cut. Though there are more games to come so we will watch with interest.

Viewed game NSW V QLD, yes HTC it was bit disappointing to see our future wallaby men play on an average park field and the bench struggling to view their counterparts looking straight into the sun, poor management skills! Qld pack took control once they got settled both scrummaging & line outs. Tupou is definitely a player of the future, seemed to get his side on the front foot when he took the defence on, but all forwards were strong and well organised. I hear Brad Thorn is in the mix with coaching staff. NSW were not what I was expecting, was hoping for a real nail biting exhibition but not to be, Maddock was instrumental under pressure (highball) and good counter attacking skills. Few mistakes from NSW May have cost them however qld line speed was outstanding as they caused handling errors. Overall good start and room for improvement, not sure why qld bench came on so late, I know they have a class player on the bench, are they saving him.?...

NSW v ACT:
Good looking team from the young Ponies, who should be competitive in the engine room department, and with their inside backs.

The depth of the NSW bench and outside backs may be the point of difference between the two teams.

NSW to win but not by too much.

Teams for QLD v WA?

And what's the idea of the 24th Man?
Horton named as the 24th for NSW. Last week Magnay was pulled from the U20 game to be the 24th man for Qld Reds in the big game.
Is this injury cover in case a player with a known but slight injury takes a knock during the warm up?

Yep look at Michael Harris, he ruled himself out during the warmup last weekend.

AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) earned his test debut after Elton Flatley was ruled during the warmup.

At school last year Horton played hooker, prop and backrow. I wouldn't like to see him playing prop in U20s but he's a versatile player.

Are the games being live streamed this week?

From the Australian Rugby Weekly Preview media announcement on matches this weekend:

SUPER U20s CHAMPIONSHIP
Round 2

Saturday 5 March
Queensland U20s v Western Force U20s, Suncorp Stadium, 4.15pm AEST and 1.15pm AWST

Queensland Coach Jason Gilmore has made four changes to the side that beat the NSW U20s in round one for the curtain-raiser clash with the Force.

The Western Force U20s will be hungry for victory after going down by only four points to the Melbourne Rebels in Perth last week.

The match will be live streamed through www.redsrugby.com.au.

Friday 4 March
Brumbies Colts (U20s) v NSW Gen Blue U20s, GIO Stadium Canberra, 5.10pm AEDT

The NSW U20s side will be looked for an improved performance after losing at home last week to the Queensland U20s when they run out to take on the Brumbies U20s.

The Brumbies U20s have named young guns Jordan Jackson-Hope, Nick Jooste and Tyrel Lomax in the side for their first match of the Super U20s Championship.

No mention of live streaming for this match.

Moore had significant strapping on one knee last week out at Kippax. Lee mentioned he had an injury in the last trial match v Sydney Uni. Could be the issue.

^^^ Previous years we have had some reliable twitterati at the National U20 Championships feeding the latest news into the threads for those unable to be there.

Are there any twitterers associated with the teams that we can tap into this year? (apart from the official tweets from the Teams)
