Thanks for the WRU highlights link BJ - quite a treat to watch.

Holmes sure can kick a long range penalty - as happened with the first penalty goal in the 2nd half. But at that point of the math, it would have been good to see Brumbies kick for touch and have a crack at getting over the line.

What a run by the replacement winger Tom Cox! More of that please.

Brumbies had some chances alright - like the period (deep into the 2nd half) when they opted for about 10 'pick and go' lunges for the line when a metre or two from the try line. Too predictable and Wales handled them all too easily.

Why do teams continue with repeated pick and go attempts? Two or three attempts for sure - to compress the defence line then allow the ball to go at least two passes wide to a strong runner - at least that poses a different question to the defending team.

The welsh team played strongly unti half time then switched off. Drove me nuts, but there we go. The only aim second half was to avoid injuries. The second half was IMO a contact training session.

And the welsh B team need plenty of contact training... As for the Brumbies ti was a good opportuntity to give few rookies a run against an international squad... and they did very well
