Well, the wife and I put on the new Game of Thrones and all the intrigue is in the Brumbies v Kings.

That's a huge result for the Kings. If the winless Highlanders are halfway up that Kiwi power rankings then the Kings must be top 3.

The Kings should now have the NZ power ranking minor premiership shield after that..........

Sometimes sh!t just happens. Top of the table is meh. Many premierships have been won by teams who were not "top of the table".

Ponies should bounce back OK.

Top of the table guarantees home semis and a home final if you can win the semi
It is a very big deal.

I only tipped the Brums by 9 because I thought their attitude looked suss last week.

Apparently it was a little more suss than I thought.

A good game to watch, and always a pleasure to watch an underdog win. Especially when it's an underdog that plays like the Kings.

Some of their tries this season are simply beautiful to behold. Good on 'em.

The Clan will be up for smashing people next week. Normally that would be fine but i'm just worried the Reds get them the week after. Not that i want the Brumbies to do poorly, just finish second in the conference.

I realise that but they did have home ground advantage so it may aswell have been a loss

Is that salt and vinegar, lime and cracked pepper, or regular sea salt sitting on the shoulder of Force fans in this thread?

Just pointing out what was told by many a poster on here when the force went down.

I think 1 team will feel like it was a win and 1 will feel like it was a loss. But the Brumbies aren't done for yet.

Excellent game from the Kings. This show the differense between the depth in players between SA and Aus. Most of these Kings players havent got any S15 rugby experiense and to perform like this away from home is just unbelievable.

I like Ben Alexander. Easy for me to say at the moment, I know, I'm not a peeved Brumbies supporter.

With the the Wallabies frequently maligned up front he has regularly delivered at the national level in the last 12 months or so.

Gotta sympathize with any forward who's interviewed at half-time by Fox, as Alexander was tonight; (I actually sympathize with backs in the same situation). Given how passionate he was in that half-time interview he was the last bloke I expected to be the Brumbies' fall guy. Yet it was he who dropped the ball early in the 2nd half during a promising raid near the 22 & the villain of the late no arms tackle. I envisage that Alexander will lead the way in the coming weeks.

The Kings were much better than the Bulls a week earlier.

Solid set piece.

Strong defence.

Really physical throughout.

And they took their chances.

They're going to pull off a few more scalps.

Wheels are coming off the Brumbies season. Three average showings in three weeks.

Now, this is the kind of over the top reaction the Brumbies need to get back some humility......... being the supposed competition favourites after a few rounds never ends well...........

Laurie Fisher said after the Stormers loss that this will be the making of this team. Since then they have put two sub standard performances in and both at home. Teams seemed to have worked them out and the Brumbies seem to be lacking answers.

Well done Kings. the back end of the game is their issue and they took a huge step to rectify that tonight. Whitehead did a good job at 10 I thought.

The last few weeks they've been lacking in attack. Where is the devastating stuff they put together against the Sharks and Tahs? It can't be all Mogg, or can it? Hopefully this is a bump in the road, because I still think they're the most complete Aussie side... But only just.
