65% of our kids go to a Public High School.
Other codes dominate their sports with teams from CHS.

Pathway.
West Indies use to be unbeatable in the cricket - but they lost sight of the grass roots and or the pathway, and their depth disappeared. Basketball and other sports came in and started picking "sporting skill" and showing enjoyment & development.

Think you will find when the West Indies were at their peak, was well before dope testing in sport. Perhaps a reason why we have not seen a fast bowling attack any where near as lethal since.

I could imagine Usain Bolt as a pretty fearsome fast bowler if he had chosen to continue with cricket.

NRL in front again.
Is it just me or does this look like the Space Race between the Yanks and the Ruskies?
Russia had a second class flight programme but were winning the race until the Yanks put a bloke on the moon.
It's a given that we have the better game but we're behind. I'm watching telly and on comes an add.... "Play junior rugby league" with a link to find your local club. Surely the ARU could find the money to make and run such an add for our game. Please Pulver....... do bloody something to help our great game! PLEASE!!!!!

Give us the moon shot!

But the best part is it is officially now being launched;

MRF Project 2—Northern Beaches Rugby Pathway. In many respects this is our most exciting , most important project for 2017. Based upon an excellent rugby development programme for high schools designed by Tom Crerar, the inaugural MRF Gala day will be held on June 20th at Nolans Reserve between 930am-230pm. This projects involves 14 high schools in the northern beaches and north shore area. Our development team will attend all schools to instruct u13, u15 and open teams , boys and girls, in the Olympic sport of rugby sevens. There is no other support for rugby in these selected schools.
