Ed Quirk on debut was fantastic, looked a bit lost at times, but probably due to the lack of training because of 7's.

Oh, you mean the Reds v Highlanders game...

3. Cooper
2. Hynes
1. Van Humphries (even though his punching was way to inaccurate for mine)

Great to see Hardman go out on a high. Genia was very strong too - definitely the Reds' player of the season.

I wish they would stop hiding Cooper in defence.
Hynes had a strong game.
Front row stood up well.
Chambers had a great game.
Tasi was solid and injected some much needed energy when he came on.
What's the news on Higgers ankle. Hope it is nothing major.

Noddy, Spock or Nimoy is Poutasi Luafutu. He was dubbed that in the live chat of the game lastnight, bit of a resemblance.

I thought Ioane had a poor game last night by his standards.

Haven't seen the replay only going off what I saw live.

3. Cooper - he seemed dangerous everytime he touched the ball.
2. Greg Holmes - I thought he was our best forward & also think he'll be a bolter for the Wallabies.
1. Genia - It's just the same shit week in week out.

3. Hardman - True stalwart of the Reds
2. Cooper - He can entertain my BBQ any day of the week
1. Slipper- Grasped his opportunity to step up, held his own in the scrum and did some good things around the ground

1. Ioane.

Spectator, you must have been watching the Lions game if you thought Ioane had a good game. He was terrible, dropped a lot of ball, relatively ineffective in attack and missed two tackles for tries, once on Dagg and another time on vainikolo.

Dunno what got into me David, must have still been suffering the after effects of the thousand beers I had after the game! Am modifying now.

Well I'm glad you had plenty of beers because I had to work all night after the game. Great game though, was really impressed with the highlanders attacking attitude.
