My mail is Ignatius won the 3rd IV, 2nd IV and 2nd VIII. Shore took out the 1st IV and St Joseph’s won the 1st VIII.Any update on races at Nepean?
Who won 4th IV?My mail is Ignatius won the 3rd IV, 2nd IV and 2nd VIII. Shore took out the 1st IV and St Joseph’s won the 1st VIII.
My assumption would be Ignatius. I've heard that there's been some disruption for the King's crew and Shore has been scratched.Who won 4th IV?
Apparently v slow. 6’07” or similarJoeys had their full boat back today, does anyone have the times for the 1st VIII?
What do you mean they just knocked off Joeys? 4 seconds is not an insignificant amount . And I wouldn't say that a one man substitution in the Joey's crew is the boat stopping 'last minute crew change' you pretend it is.I know Kings have the fastest time of the year but they just knocked off Joeys that day who raced with unexpected last minute crew changes (when it would have been easier to hide / fox).
hmm, I appear to have struck a nerve. I guess we will see how the strategy of preparing for a race by not racing works in a few weeks. What do you mean they just knocked off Joeys? 4 seconds is not an insignificant amount . Sorry mate! Was just the beers talking!hmm, I appear to have struck a nerve. I guess we will see how the strategy of preparing for a race by not racing works in a few weeks.
Please Mr. Chairman, only talk about the GPS crews.I know it may not be the AAGPS, but nonetheless, good luck to all of the crews competing in Schoolgirl HOTR today. St Catherines are the hot favourites and my pick to take out the First Eight race.
It’s hot out there. Stay hydrated.Sorry mate! Was just the beers talking!
Look, everyone knows Kings worked very hard on race craft in ‘22. I don’t think the dark arts they practiced that year will be of any help in ‘24The 2022 Kings VIII was inconsistent at best with their racing throughout the season, often scratching or not even winning. However, they still came through with a glorious victory over shore in iron cove. A fond memory that lives rent free in my head. Go Kings.

Chatter about schoolgirl rowing welcome here. Please Mr. Chairman, only talk about the GPS crews.
Honestly, I have to agree that it's pretty ridiculous. Maybe just me but I don't really feel like it's in the spirit of the sport. Can we get serious thoughts on how ridiculous it is that the kings first 8 have only rowed at 2 regattas not back in my day being a kings old boy.
