I just spotted on Foxtel that Nascar is using the old ARC "You don't know me... yet" campaign.....
Similar promotion currently running for the Women's Football World Cup (I think, may have been European, wasn't paying total attention) here in Britain.

I certainly didn't. 3 games on Fox??? That's bloody outstanding! Although if we're getting 3 why not all 4?

If that's the broadcast schedule rather than the fixture (which would make only 3 games a week rather than 4 make a ridiculous amount of sense), that is the best news of all. 3 live games a week, and hopefully an online replay of the 4th would be absolutely immense and great for the fans.

Looking at the schedule, it is quite incomplete.

3 matches for round 1
3 matches for round 2
4 matches for round 3
2 matches for round 4
1 match for round 5

I reckon it's based on fixtures they've confirmed not that they're televising.

Note there's not a single NSW Country Eagles match listed.

I didn't know it was 3 per week! Good news if so, but I suppose we'll find out for sure soon enough.

RWC starts 18 September, though. That's Round 5.

It would make sense that they'd prefer to cut back NRC during RWC. Viewers' eyes (even rugby tragic ones) have priorities y'know.

Plus NSW Country home games cost more to televise. They'll be relying on a bit more on away matches to get on TV, I'd guess.

Notice the Vikings are listed to play the Spirit in Perth on 12/9 and five days later the Vikings play the Stars in Sydney. That will be a tough ask.

It seems that multiple teams have a four day turnaround from playing a Sunday game and then the following Thursday.

Haven't looked in detail BH, but do any or all of those short turnarounds involve travel back from Perth and then onwards to another location, Sydney in this case. If so, the scheduling is bollocks.

Posted this in the BNE thread. Considering the squad Bris City will welcome back they should be one of the favourites. Back to back?

1. Paraka
2. Ready (Hanson*)
3. Talakai
4. Kotze
5. McDuling
6. Korzyk
7. Gunn (Gill*)
8. Schatz
9. Frisby
10. McIntyre
11. Kuridrani
12. B. Tapuai
13. White (Kerevi*)
14. Laloifi
15. Turner

16. Mafi
17.
18. Fa'agase
19.
20. Wilkin
21. Mullins
22. S. Greene
23. R. Tapuai

Big question was K. Hunt in the city squad last season ?

That squad is quite formidable

* Possible Wallaby selection

It can't be the matches they are televising, some of the game times will overlap...

All should be revealed this week. The main piece missing from the puzzle is what's doing with the Eagles.

Some of these were unveiled last year, but it's good to have them.
