It would appear that the Scots music department have bolstered the choir again. Well done.

Shore 1st xv prediction

1. Jamo Lyne (3s)
2. James Warner VC (1s)
3. Felix Harvison (3s)
4. Charlie Galligan (16A)
5. Ed Baxter (1s)
6. Angus Reardon (2s)
7. Marshall Lemaitre C (1s)
8. Ethan Hamilton (2s)
9. Jack Binnie (2s)
10. Alex Segart (2s)
11. Lewis Kingdom (2s)
12. Henry Conick (1s)
13. Ollie Mackellar (1s)
14. Charlie Francis (16a)/Preston Scott (2s)
15. Rex Bassthingwhaite (New student)

9 will be a close call with Binnie, Grieg and Beggs in the mix, Lotz is a smokie. My tip is Bass as 10, Wendt and McKellar on the wings, Conick and someone else (?) at 13. Kingdom at 15. Front row unclear, although Warner as hooker locked. New arrival at School is possible prop option, but Gus Gordon not option at this stage as wanting social team option. Backrow locked. MLM should be 7 and will be a choice whether Reardon or Hamilton play 6 or 8. My prediction:
1. Jamo Lyne (3s)
2. James Warner VC (1s)
3. New student
4. Charlie Galligan (16A)
5. Ed Baxter (1s)
6. Angus Reardon (2s)
7. Marshall Lemaitre C (1s)
8. Ethan Hamilton (2s)
9. Angus Beggs (3s)
10. New student
11. Ollie Mackellar (1s)
12. Henry Conick (1s)
13. New student
14. Nick Wendt
15. Lewis Kingdom (2s)

How are these Shore teams looking now that school is back and any new students should be known?

Given this would be his third year in the 1sts you would think. I heard there's a new hooker not sure whether year 11 or 12.
Darcy Emmett is the new hooker in year 11. He is from Newcastle way. Played in the Waratahs 16s last year with Large. who is Heinz Lemoto?

Who is Heinz, good question. Suspect he was first introduced to Scot’s in December 23 when he played for the Pasifika team vs the U16 Australian selection. He’s mostly been playing league the last few years but I think he was involved with rugby via Gordon a few years back and had an association with Penrith further back yet.

I hope Scots back the many capable boys they have had at the school since yr 7 and don’t just discard them. That would be quite sad.

Hey guys, its great to be back. I'd like to address the Heinz Lemoto situation.

I do feel a bit upset they brought him in, I don't really see the need with two spectacularly talented cohorts in the opens age group. I believe he got affiliated with Scots through his 'City' teammate Onitoni Large (part scholarship) as they are both managed by the same group. I have attached a highlight video made by the same managing group as Onitoni.

I am a bit annoyed they brought him in but I don't think its anything we haven't seen before from any GPS school.

Cheers,

I think but could be wrong the No2 and Heinz boy above have come in Year 11.

Jacques, Ulqou, Bartlett, McKenzie are all started at Scots Year 5. The others were year 7, with I think the exceptions being Fittler, Large year 8 and possibly Gow Year 10.

So I was correct that he has been mostly playing league. I guess he’ll go straight back there. At least RA seems to be getting smarter about how they allocate their scarce $. I notice that there are some notable omissions in the NSW U18 squad to play to soon.
