Is Ruan Smith really the LH prop reserve, or is it just a mix up with the numbers on their backs? Don't know anything at all about Gav Luka so can't take a line through where he usually plays.

What do we know about Gav Luka?

He was part of the Under 20 World Cup Squad in 2017. I don't think he got used a whole lot though as was behind Vui and Johnson-Holmes

Gav Luka is a THP, he is probably a season too soon for his debut to be honest, talented young player but has had a cruel run with injuries which haven't allowed him to get the conditioning or experience he should have at this point.

Fortuaika is out for the season, and Hoopert picked up an injury last game, so Luka is last man standing.

Underestimate the Jags at your peril.

They are top of their conference and have just beat the Tahs.

    Whos underestimating then?

It actually wasn't a response to anything, just a warning. They've taken a few seasons to get a wriggle on and a lot of people still seem to think they are the underperformers of a couple of years ago. They beat the Tahs last week and despite a few horrid moments and BR's usual scathing analysis the Tahs pretty much gave it their all and played pretty well.

They've just won consecutively in Wellington and Sydney, nobody is underestimating them. If anything, we're underdogs.

    You are.

For some reason the Tahs were favourites last week. My betting account is substantially healthier as a result.

It'll be interesting to see what the crowd figure ends up looking like.

Doubtful there'd be a heap of Jags fans in Brisbane and the Lions are playing at the Gabba at exactly the same time.

I'm actually really stoked to see some club rugby players earning some caps. Yeah it's mainly due to some injuries and the under 20s unvailable but it does show their is another possible pathway to playing for Qld & that good performances in first grade do get noticed.

I'd love to see Michael Richards get a call up. He's not the biggest bloke around but like his old man has plenty of ticker. I haven't watched all of jeeps games this year but couple of I've seen he's done well.

Reds can do the Brumbies a hell of a favour if they can tip out the Jaguares tonight. As well as giving themselves a chance of finishing further up the log.

Issue with the smith brothers ever playing for Australia is that they are a liability with the ball in hand

Ill never understand why halfbacks dont take the ball out of a rolling maul when its clearly going to shit.

It sucks that at the point of ultimate pressure in Rugby, rather than well worked set plays we get fucking rolling mauls. Garbage.

Generally I think it’s from the person at the back not releasing it. McDermott was demanding the one earlier and never given
