How can TPN be responsible for losing a lineout when the Tahs didn't even lift someone?

I didn't say he was responsible for losing the lineout Qwerty, I said it was a poor throw from TPN.

The lineout you refer to was called to Dennis and even if he had been lifted the throw was well short of the mark. It was a throw/jump so TPN had to throw the ball before Dennis jumped - all he knew when he threw it was where the jumper was supposed to be and he didn't get it that far - he didn't know that Dennis wouldn't get up. If he knew Dennis wasn't going to jump why did he throw it straight to Simmons?

The responsibility is shared - Chapman because he missed the lift and TPN because he threw it short and as Simmons was in front of Dennis it would have been lost anyway.

Actually that photo makes it look like the Tahs ARE lifting someone, unfortunately it appears to be a Red. :p

Just sayin'.
