So the test seriesse is done and dusted and level packs 3 all if you combine the two seriesse. A summary of this was that it surely delivered some exciting and good to watch cricket. Altho we slipped up at home I still have enough respect for the Aussie cricketers to think that our lot did a great job this summer. If you'd ask me before the seriesse started if I would be satisfied with this result I'll sure accepted it. Must say I am not only satisfied with the way our lot played but also the way they behave on and off the field. Give me the Aus or SA pitches anyday in front of that dull 700+ score ones. The secret is that it have to give bat and ball a change and all the tests produce results and only the last one not going into day 5 (not sure). Myself also likie this referal system. Always felt some umpires made to many hasety decissions and this system will make them think twice. You wont get them all right but I think the system is spot on. Maybe a tweek here and there and you'll have the best one. About time cricket use technolloggy to get the right decission and cant ask for more.
Next up is two T20 matches and 5 One Dayers. SA will sure try and stepup from where we left in Aus in the One Dayers to make that nr1 spot safe. They dont play many internationals this year and will go in a long winter sleep after this one.
ODI squad: Graeme Smith (Nashua Cape Cobras, capt), Johan Botha (Chevrolet Warriors, vice-capt), Hashim Amla (Nashua Dolphins), Mark Boucher (Chevrolet Warriors), AB de Villiers (Nashua Titans), JP Duminy (Nashua Cape Cobras), Herschelle Gibbs (Nashua Cape Cobras), Jacques Kallis (Chevrolet Warriors), Albie Morkel (Nashua Titans), Morne Morkel (Nashua Titans), Makhaya Ntini (Chevrolet Warriors), Wayne Parnell (Chevrolet Warriors), Dale Steyn (Nashua Titans), Vaughn van Jaarsveld (bizhub Highveld Lions).
