Peak v average, doesn't really matter how you look at it, its been a long time since the Wallabies averaged 1.6million for a game on fta.

That's rwc (in a good timezone!) Level of viewers.

It's nothing close to RWC level of viewers really. the RWC Final in 2003 scored an average viewership of 4.5 million - which is in the current State of Origin range (a little above), whilst for the years following the RWC the Bledisloe regularly scored average viewer ratings of above 2 million.

Take your point but I wasn't talking about that RWC ;)

And talking about 2003 and the years after only reinforces how long ago the Wallabies were getting ratings like that..

This has clearly been inserted by David Gallop lol.

What's not mentioned there is that's "peak viewers" - those who watched 5 minutes of it. It's actually not the same as "average viewers" which was closer to the 2 million mark. Also of note is all the other ratings are "average viewers" and not peak.

    Gotta love Wiki "facts"

I'm sure it will be corrected at some point.

For anything that is fairly well read, Wikipedia is pretty accurate. For as much as people criticise it being cited as fact, the accuracy rate over time is actually quite amazing due to the amount of review it gets.

I saw something a while ago that cited that the error rate in the Encyclopaedia Brittanica was greater than Wikipedia because generally one or two people would write an entry and one or two people would review it.

Does the Encyclopaedia Brittanica exist anymore? They must really be struggling for market share post the widespread roll out of the WWW.

Many years ago, I purchased a CD (could have been a DVD) of the EB. Haven't used it for years - mind you I am also married so I have an alternate and all knowing source of facts.

Local soccer player contracts Temporary Limb Amnesia

    --Reuters--

A local soccer player appeared to contract Temporary Limb Amnesia during one of the weekends matches. "I completely forgot I had arms and legs and was left with no other alternative than to use my facial features to attempt to propel the ball around the place" said the clot.

    The local moron in action.

The local player has since been led from his teams training ground, down a path, a path that led all the way to the outskirts of town, then led down past some trees, then to the end of a very, very, very long unpaved country road and then finally left to his own devices.

    Arsenal player suffers ruptured anus.

    -- Telegraph--

An Arsenal player has been placed on the injured list after suffering
from what doctors are referring to as a "fully blown-out anus".

An Arsenal player (on the right) seen here "accidentally" having his anus torn asunder by a teammate.

"In laymans terms, this is a full bumcrack rupture of the poo hole that connects the arse cavity to the arse hole area" said the Arsenal team doctor, Dr Arsene McArseyarse.

The injury occurred during a collision in the rear. "It was just one of those random bumrooting moments that happens a dozen times during any soccer match" continued the team doctor. "Unfortunately, as passions run high amongst groups of young Arsenal men, all wearing their attractive silky colourful togs, naturally, stiffies do occur from time to time and yes, they do occasionally get stuck up young boys bumcracks."

The injured player (who wished to remain anonymous - pictured above) said "at first I felt this deliciously excruciating pindick stabbing feeling in my arsehole, which in itself is not an unusual or unknown sensation for me.. but my teammate must've caught me at an awkward angle and now I have to ring home and tell my mum that I have a ruptured anus. Oh well, nothing she hasn't heard before."

Your next mission, should you choose to accept it, is to respond in the appropriate manner to #74 above (unless of course you wrote it in the first place :) in which case as you were).

Don't worry about #74. It is spam that is usually hoovered up with the poster being banned. Happens with monotonous regularity.

Probably left here to see if @Dismal Pillock will rise to the challenge laid down by @Waiopehu Oldboy.

Do not underestimate the innovation, capabilities or reach of Gunston Corp Pty Ltd.

channel surfed across U20 diveball WC and, lo and behold, there was little old NEW ZEALAND dishing out a 5-0 hiding to South American heavyweights Honduras. What the hell? Since when did NZ start thumping the worldwide wendyball heavyweights?

I was in shock watching this match. Instead of NZ's usual galumphs stomping around like huge cleft-footed clots as the opposing pixie men danced gleefully past them, it was the other way around. NZ had actual skilful wee whippet men. Although honestly, the kids are seriously underweight. They're built like marathon runners or something. Doesnt NZ have Wendys any more?
