They still haven't had all four on at the same time if I'm not mistaken.

This is a tough one to pick, Carter isn't the same goal kicker he was four of five years ago, so I wouldn't rely on him for that. He has added the drop goal to his repertoire but Cruden can as well. Joubert might let a lot go in this one but I don't know if that will benefit either side, the Crusaders are master infringers and the Chiefs are not bad either (through Messam). Could go either way this one. Can't wait.

I also assumed this game was on tomorrow but found out an hour ago it's on today, fkn beautiful.

Foxtel IQ and a cone of silence until you get home to watch. Worth every cent.

You can even programme it remotely through your smartphone if you can't get home.

We still have the old school basic foxtel because it comes with all the sports channels plus a bunch of extra ones from a range of packages. It's costs far less than what it would on the current system but of course there is no IQ. :( Means a lot of late nights watching EPL and rugby tours, it's great being a night owl.

1st try to the Chiefs, but looked a like a double or even triple movement from Toumalolo to eventually ground the ball on the line. Awarded by TMO but he obviously couldn't rule on double movement.

Chiefs have had a lot of the ball in the Saders 22 and until then the Saders had kept them out well. Cruden has been winning his battle with Carter so far. Made some really impressive runs and stepped Carter a couple of times in the 22. Cruden also missed to penalties, first from 55m which hit the post just above the padding but later he missed a much more kick-able one putting it wide to the right.

Chiefs in again, Messam this time. Robinson ghosted through the middle of the Crusaders team, taking the play from 1 22 to the other, ball eventually ends up with SBW who offload to Messam to put his through a hole and over the line.

Carter put over a penalty in between the 2 Chiefs tries, current score 17-6 Chiefs.

Great game to watch so far. Chiefs are looking hungry. First try was a dud, but they have it over the crusaders at the moment.

Good play by the AR there recommending the white card. If Chiefs do make the final they'll probably be missing 1 or 2.

Chiefs have been walking a tightrope with the niggle especially targeting McCaw at every opportunity. Seems to be paying dividends in the first half but could easily blow up in their faces.

Conversion missed by Carter, half time score 17-11 Chiefs. Chiefs bossed the 1st half but Saders got their try at just the right time. Going to be a hum dinger of a 2nd half.

This whole TMO debacle needs to be looked at in the off-season. Not to say anything about that decision in particular, just that far too many games have been marred by controversy that could easily be avoided if the TMO were to have more latitude.

The TMO would be able to rule on the double movement under the laws changes to be trialed during the November tests.

Yeah the worry for the Chiefs is they dominated the 1st half but still only went in 6 points up. They need to stretch the lead early in the 2nd half, they wont feel as tired if they have a lead to defend.

Saders are back within 3, 17-14. Chiefs had a chance to restore the margin with a kickable penalty out in front from about 40m. But it was reversed for off the ball stuff. Carter then kicked the ball over the deadball line from the Saders penalty. So the ball came all the way back for a scrum. Chiefs win a penalty from the scrum, slotted by Cruden 20-14 to Chiefs.
