Channel 9 and 7 are private organisations. They can lean whichever way the damn well like as far as I'm concerned.

The ABC is funded by our taxes. I doubt it is even legal for them to lean a particular way, and it really annoys me when they do.

Agree Scotty, it really shits me when an organisation funded by tax-payers money is used as a propaganda tool, which will take any measure to slander the conservatives.

On another note, it's pretty refreshing to see Andrew Bolt on Channel Ten. It's good to see a variety of viewpoints offered on television, as opposed to the media cliche we seem to get on a constant basis.

Oh please. If you want the overwhelming consensus of the climate change science questioned, and obnoxious race baiting then yeah sure go ahead and watch that trash. Bolt's presence on Channel 10 is not for a "refreshing" wide range of view points as you would claim, you can get that by watching Meet The Press (Yes it's balanced) it is for those who are so desperate not to believe what governments are telling them and who read three of Australia's worst Newspapers; The Herald Sun, The Daily Telegraph and The Courier Mail. To sum it up the overwhelming amount of people who voted for One Nation and their fellow crackpot of a leader Pauline Hanson.

Andrew Bolt is not a conservative, he is a racist bigot. I would rather watch paint dry then hear him have his two cents.

There are significant amounts of people who are conservatives and are on these programs, and they support a market based mechanism any day over the other alternative.

Climate change should be questioned. It is not a proven science, it is just a theory. If people didn't question theories then people might still believe that the earth we live on is both flat and the centre of the universe. There's plenty of evidence to show that climate change isn't real- the fact that people are suggesting that the earth has survived billions of years, with global floods, ice ages, fires etc. is going to be destroyed by plastic bags and fossil fuels that come from the natural earth is more ludicrous than anything Andrew Bolt has said.

Secondly, Andrew Bolt is not a rasict. His views are based on fact, as opposed to the socialist bullshit viewpoint of the majority of conformist Australians. Please go and find his speech responding to Robert Manne's statements on the Stolen Generation. He refutes all of Manne's claims easily, proving how weak these claims are. No proof exists that Aboriginal children were abused by their white parents, a plethora of documents and reports reiterate this idea. Claiming that white people owe Aboriginals for past mistreatment (policies which the overwhelming majority of Australian's had no say in) is like saying that we owe left-handed people compensation due to the suppression of their natural handedness and the trauma it has caused many of them.

I have read Bolt's articles on boat people and multiculturalism I suggest you read them and I'm sure you will come to that conclusion. I refuse to get into an argument with you on compensation for Aborigine people and native title issues as you clearly disagree with what my stance will come to, and I don't think we should start that article. You seem to come to the conclusion that anyone who doesn't practice what you preach is a socialist.

I agree with you about needing to dispute the science of climate change, but how Bolt does it is concerning he claims that it is socialist propaganda concocted by the most potent organisations. Why on earth would anyone want to believe in climate change? Anyways, we can debate this in the dedicated thread.

LOL i checked out Bolt's blog today. It took about 2 minutes to see a blog post misrepresenting climate science, and then dismissing it as bullsh*t.

Apparently the IPCC claimed that the greenhouse effect leads to more frequent cyclones. (When this is not what any of the scientific literature says, not even the IPCC's reports). But the Australian BOM has reported less frequent cyclones in the last 10 years. THEREFORE THE IPCC are wrong!!!!! -according to Bolt.

Turns out Bolt just didn't bother to actually read the sources he was providing. Having another look at his blog, this seems like a daily occurrence...

People like him and Monckton are complete embarrassments. If i had an issue with climate science these are the last two people on Earth i'd bother to listen to, there must be much more intelligent "sceptics" out there. But they probably don't get any airtime because their small objections are not as exciting as the washed-up-journalist style of "socialist-scum-are-trying-to-control-you-with-global-warming" denial.
