oh I'm an idiot I forgot you were talking about Scotland in that case I'd say he will start with Higginbotham with one of Dennis/Palu on the bench.

Wallabies side for Scotland just announced on TripleM.

Moz, Diggers, Ant, Harris, Tomane, Barnes, Genia, Higgers, Pocock (c), Dennis, Sharpe, Timani, Palmer, Moore, Slipper
Res: Saia, Benny A, Simmons, Phipps, McCabe, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)

Actually, I've missed a reserve as it was read out but sure the list will turn up elsewhere soon. Plenty of debutants in the starting side.

Hard to comment as obviously this isn't the A team who will play Wales.

For instance, I would hope White comes onto the bench for Wales.

Barnes at Flyhalf?! seriously, have they not been watching the tahs. This would have been the perfect game for Coops to find some form

The choice of Harris is interesting, and perhaps suggests that he'll be in the 22 (possibly starting against Wales). I'm not sure there is enough creative attacking players in that backline. Probably enough for scotland but i hope there's changesfor the wales game

This could be the game which determines whether Barnes will play any part in the squad for the remaining tests...

I expect McCabe to return to 12 for Wales with Cooper at 10...

Tahs props to come in, and possibly AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) somewhere in the back 3 (probably fullback?)...

tahs props were embarrassing in first half yesterday but you are probably right

I will probably be howled down for this but I really do not rate Timani. The Waratahs scrum was under pressure until he was replaced when it became dominant. Yes he carries over the advantage line but on half the occassions he does he drops the ball or gets turned over. Not a fan at this stage. Need significantly more development and not at test level, as shown in last year's Samoa game. He is a new Deans favourite and unless he is hospitalised with injury and cant manage to drag his IV around the field he will get selected.

Phipps. They both had ordinary games this weekend but White has developed strongly under White and is much more consistant than the eratic Phipps.

At least there is no Maafu of that I am surprised a little.

Deans doesn't worry about players "creating" all he wants is 7 gifted individuals at the back to play what is in front of them, forget the rubbish like people backing them up and passing to them or setting others up.

I'd hope the same Slim.

I'm really surprised Dennis is starting over Mowen considering Dennis took some knocks last night. Mowen to probably start against Wales? I'd hope he doesn't go Palu + Higginbotham starting.

I would also expect Timani to drop out completely with Simmons or Pyle to be promoted to the starting XV with the other on the bench...

Hopefully...
